Graphite Financial is a growing boutique finance, accounting, tax, and strategy firm (www.graphitefinancial.com) built to help startup and high-growth companies scale efficiently and sustainably. Graphite Financial is redefining the “finance department” for early-stage companies and VC-backed startups. We deliver high-caliber accounting and finance leadership and support to entrepreneurs and management teams building scalable, high-growth companies. Our clients are actively managing cash burn, measuring performance, reporting to investors, making capital allocation decisions, and preparing for fundraising. All of that takes expertise and time that founders don’t have and can’t afford to hire for. Graphite bridges the gap with flexible, fixed-fee support packages that provide fractional leadership and operational support from CFOs, Controllers, FP&A Managers, and Tax leaders.

About the Role

Graphite is looking for a Field Marketing Specialist to lead all event and partnership-driven marketing initiatives that strengthen our brand, expand our reach, and generate meaningful demand. You’ll manage everything from large-scale conferences and sponsored activations to exclusive client dinners, webinars, and appreciation events — while also serving as a front-line ambassador for the Graphite brand.

This is both a builder and representative role. You’ll not only execute events flawlessly but also handle the visibility plays that come with them — securing speaking opportunities for our leadership team, managing media sponsorships, and driving thought leadership exposure through podcasts, panels, and strategic alliances.

What You’ll Do

  • Own All Events — Plan, execute, and oversee every type of event Graphite participates in: conferences, sponsored activations, small-group dinners, client experiences, webinars, and community gatherings.
  • Brand Representation — Serve as a professional ambassador for Graphite at events, ensuring our presence, messaging, and interactions reflect our brand and values.
  • Executive Visibility & Thought Leadership — Secure speaking slots, podcast appearances, and media opportunities that position Graphite’s leadership as recognized experts in the finance and startup ecosystem.
  • Sponsorships & Media Partnerships — Identify, negotiate, and manage event sponsorships, media collaborations, and alliance-driven marketing opportunities.
  • ABM & Customer Events — Partner with Sales and Customer Marketing to deliver high-value experiences that deepen relationships and accelerate deals.
  • Webinars & Virtual Programs — Lead planning, promotion, and production for online events and educational sessions.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment — Collaborate with Demand Gen, RevOps, and Content teams to connect events to pipeline impact and digital amplification.
  • Promotion & Follow-Up — Oversee pre- and post-event communication, working with Lifecycle Marketing to drive engagement and conversion.
  • Budget & Vendor Management — Manage event budgets, vendors, and logistics from concept through completion.
  • Measurement & Optimization — Track ROI, attendee engagement, and brand lift, using insights to continuously improve future activations.

What You’ll Bring

  • 4–6 years in field marketing, event management, or demand generation — ideally in a B2B or professional-services environment.
  • Proven success representing a brand and managing a broad portfolio of event types and sponsorship activations.
  • Confident, polished communicator who can represent Graphite with professionalism and warmth in any setting.
  • Experience securing speaking engagements, podcasts, and other thought-leadership opportunities for executives.
  • Strong organizational and negotiation skills with an eye for detail and brand consistency.
  • Hands-on experience managing vendors, budgets, and contracts.
  • Collaborative mindset; comfortable working across Sales, Marketing, and leadership teams.
  • Proficiency with HubSpot or similar platforms for tracking leads and event performance.
  • This position is a remote position with some travel for events to serve as Graphite’s on-site presence.

We are committed to investing in our team with a highly competitive and comprehensive compensation package:

Competitive Salary:

  • Base Salary Range: $65,000 – $90,000 annually. Note: Salary within this range will be determined based on the candidate's experience, skills, and market competitiveness.
  • Performance Incentive: An annual performance bonus of up to 6% of the base salary, rewarding achievements tied directly to key business objectives.

Comprehensive Benefits & Perks:

  • Health & Wellness: Competitive Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage. 100% of the employee's health insurance premium is covered by the company.
  • Financial Security: Company-paid Short-Term and Long-Term Disability insurance.
  • Work/Life Balance To Include: Generous Unlimited Paid Time Off (PTO), 11 Paid Company Holidays, and comprehensive Paid Parental Leave.
  • Remote Work Setup: Fully remote position with company-provided technology equipment and a $250 technology stipend to support your ideal home office setup.
  • 401k: With a company match
