As the Executive Director, Tax Operations Director, you will lead the U.S. Information Reporting and Withholding Operations team for the Commercial and Investment Bank (CIB). You will be at the forefront of driving operational excellence and leveraging advanced data capabilities to optimize processes and deliver results. Your expertise in data analysis and operational management will enable you to streamline workflows, enhance reporting accuracy, and implement innovative solutions across the team ensuring regulatory compliance. Your ability to harness data and operational insights will be the key to ensuring timely and precise U.S. tax information reporting and effective management of withholding obligations. Your leadership will support the organization in adapting to evolving U.S. tax laws and maintaining best-in-class practices for information reporting and withholding.

Job Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop multiple teams of professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Define and execute the strategic direction for U.S. information reporting and withholding operations, leveraging data-driven insights to inform decision-making and process improvements.
- Ensure the team's adherence to all relevant U.S. tax regulations, proactively identifying and mitigating risks, and maintaining robust controls to safeguard the firm.
- Utilize advanced data tools-including Alteryx, Python, and Tableau-to analyze large datasets, automate workflows, and deliver actionable reporting.
- Communicate complex regulatory and operational topics clearly to senior management, stakeholders, and regulators, adapting communication style to diverse audiences.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including business partners, technology teams, and vendors, to ensure alignment and effective delivery of objectives.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- 8+ years of experience in financial services operations or an equivalent field, with a proven track record of leadership.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple teams, driving performance, and fostering collaboration across diverse groups.
- Proficiency in Alteryx and Tableau and can apply these tools to solve complex operational challenges.
- Possesses deep knowledge of U.S. withholding and information reporting requirements.
- The ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
- Strategic thinker, anticipate future needs, and drive innovative solutions.
- Effective communicator and relationship builder, able to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
