Job description
The Treasury and Chief Investment Office (TCIO) at JPMorgan Chase is responsible for firm-wide asset and liability management, directly influencing the composition and activities of the firm's $2.5 trillion balance sheet across all major lines of business. Within TCIO, the Liquidity Risk Infrastructure (LRI) Data Quality Governance Team plays a critical role in supporting global Liquidity Risk Reporting by driving data accuracy, integrity, and transparency.
This team leads and manages the book of work to resolve a substantial backlog of data quality issues affecting the LRI architecture. They also support the LRI review and testing of all upstream source system developments for impact to LRI consumption of transaction and position data.
As a associate data business analyst/project manager within the Corporate Treasury team you will work with LOB, source data, cross-functional and LRI technology partners to lead data quality/source data solutions and support regulatory and management reporting. By combining robust governance, advanced analytics, and effective stakeholder engagement, you will help the team drive continuous improvement towards straight through processing of data onto regulatory liquidity reporting for our regulators across the globe.
Job responsibilities
  • Oversee the operating model supporting Data Quality Management (DQM) for Liquidity, including DQM/Jira reconciliations, analytics, and status metrics.
  • Conduct root cause analysis, system/data gap analysis, and measure materiality of data issues.
  • Collaborate with LRI Agile teams, Product Leads, Liquidity Risk Policy, Middle Office, Treasury, and technology teams to identify gaps, drive remediation, and support business requirements.
  • Manage testing, defect reporting, and resolution, including user acceptance testing and tool development/refinement.
  • Design and generate DQM/Jira status metrics, compose key messages for governance meetings, and present progress at senior forums.
  • Create agendas, host and minute working group meetings, and facilitate stakeholder communication.
  • Produce and present scorecards and high-quality presentations for executive-level management.
  • Organize complex information strategically, demonstrating strong design acumen and expertise in Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and data analytics tools.
  • Provide high responsiveness to executive ad-hoc requests related to project management, presentation development, and business analysis.
  • Project manage and deliver key work streams and tasks, supporting large-scale business initiatives and change management.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
  • Experience in Agile-driven programs, with working knowledge of Agile methodologies and the Jira lifecycle.
  • Strong data analytical and problem-solving skills; able to synthesize and draw conclusions from large data sets.
  • Knowledge of some trading and/or traditional banking products, such as loans, commitments, deposits, borrowings, cash, securities trading, securities financing, derivatives and prime brokerage.
  • Ability to organize and communicate complex information and project status in high quality presentations to senior management or cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to project manage competing priorities and diverse stakeholders in a matrixed, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable hosting working groups and speaking in large forums.
  • Attention to detail, curiosity, and ability to grasp large amounts of information quickly.
  • Self-starter with a track record of setting and achieving goals, and a strong sense of accountability and responsibility.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
  • Background in Treasury, Operational, Credit, or Market Risk beneficial.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word); experience with Tableau and SQL a plus.
