EverPro, a business within EverCommerce, provides software and solutions designed to help home and field service businesses run and grow their companies with greater efficiency and confidence. EverPro brings together purpose-built tools across key trades—including field service, remodeling and roofing, landscaping, and pest and lawn—so service professionals can manage operations, engage customers, and drive long-term growth.

Our solutions support the full lifecycle of running a service business, from scheduling and dispatching work, to estimating, invoicing, and payments, to customer communication, reputation management, and business insights. Together, these connected solutions help service pros win more jobs, save time, and build stronger, more resilient businesses.

We are looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our Customer Engagement Solutions team, supporting Zyratalk, pulseM, Customer Lobby, GuildQuality, and Listen360. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, competitive environment and wants to build a career in sales by creating opportunities and owning outcomes from the ground up.

Our software helps home service businesses connect with their customers, build trust and loyalty, and drive measurable business growth. In this role, you will play a critical part in that growth by identifying opportunities, initiating conversations, and qualifying prospects through direct, fact-based sales conversations.

As a BDR, you will spend the majority of your time in outbound sales activities. Success in this role requires comfort operating with limited direction, making real-time decisions, and adapting your approach based on results. You will be expected to take ownership of your pipeline, manage priorities independently, and consistently move opportunities forward. Performance is measured by outcomes, not just activity.

You will engage small business owners and leaders through outbound calls, uncover needs, qualify opportunities, and schedule demos with Account Executives once qualification criteria are met.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively initiate outbound conversations with small businesses to create new sales opportunities

  • Qualify prospects through direct, structured discovery conversations and sound judgment

  • Manage a high volume of outbound activity while maintaining momentum and quality

  • Take ownership of follow-up, next steps, and clean handoffs to Account Executives

  • Adapt your messaging and approach when standard tactics stop working

  • Operate effectively in a high-pressure, performance-driven environment

  • Continuously improve your sales skills through repetition, feedback, and execution

Skills and Experience needed for success in this role:

  • A natural bias toward action

  • High drive and resilience

  • Competitive energy

  • Ability to make fast, confident decisions

  • Direct, clear communication

  • Strong self-direction and accountability

  • Ownership mindset

  • Hunter mentality

  • Thrive under pressure

  • Strong, fast judgment

  • Competitive drive

  • Direct communicator

  • Self-directed and accountable
