The Principal Marketing Executive – Events is responsible for defining and leading the North America events and field marketing strategy to drive pipeline growth, customer engagement, and market expansion. The role translates business objectives into high-impact event programs that deliver measurable commercial outcomes and serves as a strategic partner to senior stakeholders across Sales, Product, and Customer Success.

Key Responsibilities: 

Skills, Knowledge and Experience: 

  • 5-8+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with a strong focus on events, field marketing, or demand generation 
  • Proven track record of developing and executing event strategies that drive pipeline growth and measurable revenue impact 
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with Sales leadership and influencing cross-functional stakeholders at a senior level 
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to connect marketing activities to business outcomes and ROI 
  • Experience owning and managing complex, multi-channel marketing programs across regions or segments 
  • Advanced project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple high-impact initiatives simultaneously 
  • Experience working with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo) with a data-driven approach to decision-making 
  •  Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 
  • Willingness to travel as required for key events and customer engagement activities

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience in SaaS, ERP, or technology-driven B2B environments (ideally within distribution, automotive, or rental sectors) 
  • Experience owning or contributing to account-based marketing (ABM) strategies and enterprise-level customer engagement 
  • Exposure to global or multi-region event strategies and collaboration with international teams 
  • Strong experience in event ROI modeling, attribution frameworks, and performance optimization 
  • Experience working with external agencies, sponsorships, and strategic event partnerships at scale 
  • Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) or relevant professional certifications in marketing or event management 
  • Experience presenting to or engaging with executive stakeholders
