While we’re a staff from all different backgrounds and walks of life, our mission is the same - to reach people with the Gospel. We’re grounded in scripture and guided by our values, so check out our website (www.elevationchurch.org) to be sure you’re aligned before you step into the application process with us, particularly paying attention to our Beliefs and our Code.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform venue walk-throughs and coordinate all on-site logistics.
  • Oversee load-in/load-out processes and manage inventory of event supplies.
  • Coordinate with internal and external vendors for event needs, including contracts, AV, catering, and setup/tear down.
  • Communicate regularly with volunteers and assign roles based on event needs and venue layout.
  • Anticipate potential event challenges and troubleshoot in real-time to ensure a smooth guest experience.
  • Maintain clear budgets, process invoices, and submit orders related to events.

  • Support the ongoing development of scalable systems and processes for event execution.
  • Create, maintain, and execute project timelines for all Young Adults events and initiatives.

  • Serve as the central communication point for creative, logistics, and ministry teams to ensure all event elements are delivered on time and within budget.
MUST-HAVES
  • Passion for ministry and active involvement in a local church community (we look for a lifestyle of inviting people to church, volunteering, generosity, and prioritizing community).
  • Experience in event coordination and/or project management (agency, nonprofit, church, or similar).
  • Highly organized, systems-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills; able to lead both cross-functional teams and volunteers.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace and project tools like Asana, Trello, and others.
  • Flexible, solution-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Independent worker, but passionate about being a team player.

  • Experience with Slack and Asana
  • Experience and/or familiarity with the Young Adult ministry of Elevation Church
DAY-TO-DAY
  • We’re a Sunday-Thursday work environment.  Monday-Thursday, we’re in the office (8:30AM - 5PM); on Sunday, we’re supporting the weekend worship experience either directly in our roles or by choosing a weekly serving opportunity at one of our Elevation Church campuses.
  • There’s a lot to accomplish each week, so we’re pretty fast-paced.  We’re also not afraid to pivot a strategy or project quickly to meet the needs of the weekend - adaptability is a key competence for us.
  • Yes, we work hard.  But we’re good at playing hard, too.  We’re a creative staff, so there’s no shortage of activities around our offices to have some fun!
  • You can’t help but grow on our staff.  You’ll be around some incredible people.  Professional development opportunities will be all around you, both in structured and unstructured ways.
  • We expect you to be disciplined in your spiritual practices - be in your Bible, spend time with the Lord in prayer, meditate on and apply the weekly sermon.
  • Bring your full self to every project, conversation, and initiative at hand.
