What We DoAssist escrow branch operations with disbursement of escrow transactions by setting up a disbursement ledger with checks and wires, reviewing supporting documents, and inputting data from closing statements. Review and prepare closing files for disbursement once the file is closed. Confirm that the file balances are accurate and disburse the funds according to direction. Work with escrow officers and Title Agents to balance files that have closed and disburse the file.

What You’ll Bring:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years Banking and/or Escrow Experience highly preferred
• Intermediate level working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and escrow related software. Ability to type a minimum of 40 WPM is required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Responds promptly to customer needs; Solicits customer feedback to improve service; Responds to requests for service and assistance; Meets commitments.

• Basic accounting knowledge including accounts receivable
• Settlement statement (Closing Disclosure and ALTA) knowledge
• Effective analytical and problem-solving skills

• Detail oriented

Please note: Position hours could range anywhere from an 8:00am start to a 7:30pm finish.

Pay Range: $20.34 - $27.12 Hourly, Remote
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
