Job Summary & Responsibilities

The M3 Functional Analyst is responsible for supporting the analysis, solution validation, and continuous improvement of ERP business processes within the Infor M3 / CloudSuite Distribution Enterprise (CSDe) environment. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, SMEs, GPOs, IT Leads, architects, and implementation partners to ensure ERP solutions align with operational requirements, governance standards, and strategic program objectives.

 

The analyst will support discovery activities, workshop execution, functional documentation, testing coordination, issue resolution, and business readiness efforts across assigned workstreams. A successful candidate will possess strong ERP functional knowledge, analytical and problem-solving capabilities, organizational discipline, communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in both independent and collaborative team environments.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support ERP workstreams through business process analysis, functional documentation, and solution validation activities.
  • Participate in discovery sessions, fit/gap discussions, workshops, and working sessions with business and IT stakeholders.
  • Gather, document, and maintain functional requirements, process flows, action items, decisions, and issue tracking artifacts.
  • Assist in evaluating ERP solutions and configurations against approved business requirements and operational processes.
  • Coordinate with SMEs, GPOs, IT Leads, architects, and implementation partners to support aligned ERP solution delivery.
  • Support functional testing activities including test preparation, execution coordination, defect tracking, and business validation.
  • Support business readiness and operational alignment by helping stakeholders understand process impacts, decisions, and ERP solution changes.
  • Assist in identifying and escalating functional risks, gaps, dependencies, and process issues impacting delivery.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, workstream meetings, and project status activities as required.
  • Support deployment readiness, operational transition, and end-user support activities during implementation phases.
  • Maintain documentation standards, governance processes, and traceability throughout the ERP project lifecycle.
  • Provide timely communication and status updates regarding assigned work, risks, and open items.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to ERP processes, delivery practices, and operational effectiveness.
  • Other duties assigned by departmental leadership. 
Preferred Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience supporting ERP systems, business process analysis, or ERP implementation initiatives.
  • Experience with Infor M3 / CloudSuite Distribution Enterprise (CSDe) preferred.
  • Strong understanding of ERP business processes within one or more of the following areas:
    • Procurement
    • Inventory Management
    • Warehouse Operations
    • Order Management
    • Finance
    • Supply Chain Operations
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into functional ERP solutions.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience facilitating or supporting workshops, requirements gathering, and process documentation activities.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Experience working within Agile or hybrid project delivery environments preferred.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO), Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, Visio, and related collaboration tools preferred.
  • High level of attention to detail, accountability, and organizational discipline.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within fast-paced project environments.
  • Demonstrated initiative, adaptability, and commitment to continuous learning within complex ERP environments.

  • Knowledge of ERP systems, enterprise business processes, and operational workflows within distribution, warehouse, supply chain, manufacturing, or finance environments.
  • Understanding of Infor M3 / CloudSuite Distribution Enterprise (CSDe) functionality preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to evaluate complex business and system scenarios.
  • Ability to interpret business requirements and understand their operational and system impacts.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation discipline.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt within evolving project and operational environments.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, accountability, and follow-through.
  • Working knowledge of Agile or hybrid project delivery methodologies preferred.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO), Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, Visio, and related collaboration tools preferred.
  • Basic understanding of integrations, data dependencies, and cross-functional ERP impacts preferred.
  • Willingness to learn new business processes, systems, and technologies.
