SUMMARY
Monitoring and Supporting the Transmission and Discharge of wastewater at the Lagoon Land Application Site. Providing additional support for the Waste Water Treatment Plant as needed for relief of other operators. Loading, transporting and spreading soil waste at the Soil Waste Land Application Site. Operating and monitoring the separation of Mud Silt from the Receiving Water. Provide support for the upkeep of the plant grounds, and McCain properties. The maintenance and repair of all Equipment used in the Disposal of Process Wastewater at the Lagoon Land Application Site.
NATURE AND SCOPE
This position reports to the Environmental Supervisor, and the Environmental Lead. They work closely with the Waste Water Operators, and Lead, as well as other Environmental Operators.
The person in this role has the authority to question and take appropriate measures regarding the safety of themselves, other employees, products, and equipment, and a responsibility to report any hazards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• WASTE WATER: Monitor & support the transmission, storage and discharge of Waste Water at the Lagoon and Land Application Site.

• SOLID WASTE: Load, transport, screen and spread soil waste at the Soil Waste Land Application Site.

• MUD SETTLING: Ensure the operation and monitoring of the Separation of the Mud Silt from the Receiving Waters.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Mechanical Machinery aptitude skills required.
• Skilled in the operation of farm machinery required.
• Welding skills required.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting skills required.
• Basic plumbing and piping skills required.
• Skilled in the operation of a front end loader and dump truck are required.
• Ability to read and follow diagrams and prints, and use scales is required.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English; ie. Written correspondence, memos, written operation manuals, maps and diagrams. The ability to write simple correspondence and record data in a journal. The ability to verbally communicate in English with contractors on the performance of jobs.
• Occasionally lift and carry up to 100 lbs.

Compensation Package : $22.95-$25.49 USD hourly + bonus eligibility
The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education/training, and other organizational needs.
Shift Differential Pay : $1.50 USD hourly (Graveyard)
