Enterprise Portfolio Governance Manager Sr
The Portfolio Governance Manager Sr partners with senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders to drive transparency, prioritization, and value realization across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Develops and maintains a comprehensive portfolio roadmap that aligns with the organization's strategic objectives.
- Oversees the project selection process, ensuring projects are aligned with strategic objectives, and prioritizing projects based on value and impact.
- Facilitates sessions with executive and senior leadership to identify and prioritize portfolio initiatives
- Develops, implements, establishes, and enforces robust governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure effective portfolio management.
- Manages interdependencies and coordination across the portfolio to ensure that information relating to project deliverables, risks, and issues are effectively communicated between stakeholders.
- Manages performance of team through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional products and engagement, motivation, and development of team.
Educational Requirements
- University (Degree) Preferred
Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise portfolio, program, or project management
Proven experience managing project intake, prioritization, and slate planning across complex, cross-functional portfolios. - Experience implementing governance frameworks and portfolio management processes
- Strong stakeholder engagement, reporting, and communication skills
Experience delivering enterprise reporting and facilitating executive-level communications
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise portfolio governance, ideally within financial services or regulated environments
- Advanced expertise in portfolio management tools and methodologies
Strong knowledge of tools and frameworks supporting capacity modeling, slate planning, and portfolio analytics - Leadership experience with focus on delivery quality and team performance
