Job Description:

At Regions, the Enterprise Operations Quality Control Specialist provides quality control oversight and support sampling specific decisioning completed by the Business Group identified to ensure adherence to internal procedures and regulatory guidelines and established laws are met.    

                                                                                                      

Primary Responsibilities

  • Performs review of specific Enterprise Operations business activities to ensure policies and procedures were followed and documents were appropriate and executed properly
  • Reviews assigned samples and independently makes an investigative decision
  • Applies knowledge of Business Unit system of record for understanding to review all inquiries, case management, investigations, etc. for completeness and accuracy
  • Completes secondary reviews ensuring applicable compliance oversight documented
  • Enters final decision along with supporting information into Quality Control System communicating results to internal Business Group for feedback
  • Assists in problem solving, researching and formulating responses to the Business Group due to errors for regulatory ineffectiveness                            
  • Ensures compliance to department, agency, bank and federal guidelines and procedures to mitigate risk
  • Works under limited direction and/or supervision

This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Requirements  

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Three (3) years of experience working with regulatory requirements with associated line of business

Preferences                                                                                                           

  • Previous quality control experience
  • Prior experience working in banking with specific knowledge in Operational areas of expertise including Bank Operations, Account Solutions, Contact Center, Lending, and Technology       

Skills and Competencies                                                                                                                  

  • Ability to multi-task and set priorities
  • Advanced knowledge of operational areas of support
  • Advanced in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Detail oriented
  • Knowledgeable of all applicable regulations, agency guidelines and laws governing the business groups supported
  • Knowledgeable of main bank systems and tools to perform operational reviews in quality control
  • Proficient verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of main systems used in quality control: Verint, RAMs, Detica, Fraud Resolution, Data Navigator, PartnerCare, Empower, Black Knight

This position is intended to be onsite, now or in the near future. Associates will have regular work hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week. The manager will set the work schedule for this position, including in-office expectations. Regions will not provide relocation assistance for this position, and relocation would be at your expense. This position must be within a reasonable driving distance to a Branch, Consumer Operations, or Professional Office Building with the primary locations being for Birmingham, AL, Atlanta, GA, Charlotte, NC or Nashville, TN. Exceptions to the geographic location requirement may be made for current Regions associates who work remotely.

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

$40,000.00 USD

Median:

$48,240.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans:
