Job Description

The Enterprise Monitoring Performance Lead is responsible for gathering, analyzing and validating requirements to support the APM (Application Performance Monitoring) Methodology. This team member cooperates with application developers, systems engineers, system administrators, and DBAs to produce and document monitoring schema for network infrastructure, server hardware, OS, applications, and business processes. This team member maintains monitoring documentation. The candidate will work with Business to develop cost estimates; licensing and work effort for new and enhanced monitoring. Work directly with the Implementation Engineers that is to be instrumented by the Integration Engineers. They work closely with Event Management and the OCC (Operations Command Center) to ensure proper alerting and notification are documented in SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures).

Qualifications

  • Having an understanding of Application Performance Monitoring is a MAJOR PLUS
  • Having experience with Remedy a plus, but not necessary
