Your Impact
The Early and Emerging Talent Events Manager leads and coordinates all early and emerging event implementations across Lowe's enterprise, including corporate, campus, diversity, and military hiring. This role will serve as the main point of contact for all internal and external partnerships related to recruiting efforts targeting Early and Emerging Talent at Lowe's. The Early and Emerging Talent Events Manager is responsible for all events with the Lowe's Internship program, including but not limited to onboarding, interview days, community projects, and any event held during the internship. This role also leads, manages, and supports a team of coordinators to support all events for the Early and Emerging recruiting team. This is accomplished by understanding goals and objectives, working collaboratively and cross-functionally with key stakeholders, and by building fully integrated activation plans to host successful recruiting events that drive engagement, leads, and hires.
What You Will Do
  • Leads a team of event coordinators to support all Early and Emerging Talent recruiting events, internship & development program events, and others as the business requires.
  • Partners with the business to develop and own Early and Emerging Talent recruiting event strategy for the business lines in partnership with the HRBPs and business leaders, VP and below.
  • Influences business decisions and strategy utilizing data, insights, and company benchmarking.
  • Acts as the point of contact for all event partnerships, including Military Insulations, Universities/Colleges, non-profits, and diversity organizations.
  • Manages cross-functional workstreams projects to develop an integrated activation and marketing strategy for events and supports the team through the planning and execution phases.
  • Delivers or assists with delivery of recruiting projects from planning to minimum realization with responsibility for specific tactical outcomes; includes organizing and tracking project details and communicating consistently with project stakeholders and personnel.
  • Monitors or helps monitor the overall project performance (timeline, budget, and resource utilization) and collaborates with the project team to implement adjustments when issues/risks are identified and require resolution.
  • Develops event briefs, timelines and budgets for each even and builds communication plans, event landing pages & registration systems, project plans, and run of show documents to ensure smooth and successful events.
  • Presents event & activation strategy to Lowe's leadership VP and below, and guides them through event planning and onsite execution.
  • Leverages data and metrics to provide recommendations on event participation and activation levels that align with budget and desired outcomes and to evaluate the activation strategy to ensure Talent Acquisition goals and objectives are being achieved.
  • Presents event recaps to leadership to highlight ROI, key outcomes, and recommendations to improve future outcomes.
  • Works with vendor teams through the event planning and execution process.
  • Partners with Strategic Sourcing on negotiating pricing and contractual terms and executing contracts for all event and activation services.
  • Partners with Talent Acquisition teams to ensure resume and candidate data is captured in the Phenom CRM.
  • Coordinates all catering needs for onsite events, the space and logistics and for onsite interviews, along with shipping for all items to and from events, and attends events as needed to ensure a great candidate experience.
  • Oversees the selection and ordering of all printed materials, giveaways, and event supplies.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree Business or related field or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
  • 3 Years Experience in university and diversity events, hotel/hospitality management, sports management, marketing, project management or related field
  • 1 year experience with leading direct reports
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently during peak campus recruiting season, primarily August through January, including overnight and occasional weekend travel, based on business needs
