Wells Fargo is seeking a Middle Office Credit Execution Manager on our Diversified Industries (DI) Credit Execution team within Corporate Investment Banking Lending Operations (CIBLO).
The DI Credit Execution team supports the Healthcare, Emerging Healthcare Technology, Industrials, Technology, Media & Telecom (TMT), Consumer & Retail, Global Canada and Sponsors lines of business within Corporate Investment Banking.
This is an opportunity to join a growing Middle Office Credit Execution team that plays a critical role in moving approved corporate credit transactions from decision to execution. This leader will manage a team responsible for supporting pre-closing and post-closing credit execution activities, including reviewing credit approvals, syndicated loan structures, legal documentation, compliance requirements, and booking materials to help ensure deals are accurately documented, reviewed and booked.

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$87,000.00 - $154,000.00

In this role you will:
- Lead and develop a team responsible for pre-closing and post-closing credit execution activities that support corporate credit processing.
- Manage team resources, priorities, and daily operations to support timely and accurate credit onboarding and booking/funding.
- Review and guide work related to credit memos, syndicated loan structures, outside counsel-prepared agreements, required documentation, and compliance items.
- Partner with Portfolio Management, front office partners, loan booking/funding operations, servicing, compliance, control, risk, legal stakeholders, and CIBLO peers to resolve issues and support effective deal execution.
- Ensure activities align with applicable regulatory requirements, Wells Fargo policies, procedures, controls, and guidelines.
- Contribute to new or revised procedures, controls, reporting, remediation efforts, and other initiatives that strengthen execution quality and team effectiveness.
- Coach, mentor, hire, and develop talent while creating an environment where team members can grow, learn, communicate openly, and deliver with accountability.
- 5+ years of Business Relationship Support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2+ years of leadership experience
- Understanding of corporate loan documentation and complex loan structures, including the ability to guide teams through outside counsel-prepared credit documents and related execution requirements
- Knowledge of syndications, including agented and member deals
- Experience with credit, counterparty, treasury management, and trade products
- Demonstrated knowledge of compliance, regulatory requirements, credit policy, operational processes, and risk management practices
- Experience with nCino, Loan IQ, CoRS, TRE, ICMP, PowerBI, or similar lending and reporting systems
- Executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior leaders, front office partners, and multiple levels of management
- Strong problem-solving and sound judgment skills, with the ability to evaluate complex situations, identify risks, and guide practical solutions
- Ability to lead effectively in a fast-paced, evolving credit execution environment while helping teams adapt to changing priorities and business needs
