Responsible for all sales activities relating to global account customers. Responsible for achieving optimum global sales consistent with budgeted profit and selling expenses. Develops sales plans and budgets for achieving sales goals in conjunction with subordinate sales positions.

The Director of Sales is responsible for leading the sales strategy, managing the sales team, and driving revenue growth by achieving company sales targets and expanding customer relationships. This leadership role will deliver comprehensive programs and solutions to meet the needs of customers across the Power Generation market, by building a deep understanding of our customers’ operations, monitoring industry trends and managing complex global agreements.

The Director of Sales will oversee strategic revenue growth initiatives, pipeline management, major enterprise sales opportunities, executive-level communications, and the delivery of value-driven customer solutions across the Power Generation market.

The ideal candidate will be located in the Midwest, East or South Region, near a major US airport. 50 – 60% overnight travel is required.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Build, lead, and develop a results-oriented Sales and Corporate Accounts team focused on power generation customers across multiple geographies.
  • Establish strong customer relationships, understand key challenges, and deliver tailored solutions to meet business needs.
  • Develop and implement strategic marketing and sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
  • Oversee customer service excellence and ensure clear account strategies, priorities, and execution plans.
  • Manage profitability while driving new business growth through effective prospecting, cross-selling, and promotion of Graver’s full value proposition.
  • Identify customer needs and market opportunities to introduce innovative products and customized solutions.
  • Develop and maintain executive-level customer relationships and industry connections.
  • Lead global strategies for corporate accounts and collaborate across regions to drive consistency and performance.
  • Accelerate growth through negotiation of multi-year partnerships and strategic agreements with key global and national accounts.
  • Ensure execution excellence, measurable value delivery, and clear communication of results to customers.
  • Collaborate across Graver divisions to support enterprise-level corporate account initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Environmental) or Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry etc.), or related; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of industry sales experience. Technical sales experience in water treatment, power generation or specialty chemical industry highly preferred
  • Corporate account or key account sales team management background; executive-level relationship sales experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience developing and building high performing teams.
  • Experience in water treatment, ion exchange, power generation preferred with existing relationships / direct experience within customer base. Experience working with global customers across multiple regions preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organization and follow-up skills

Pay Range:

144,000.00 - 216,000.00
