About Mimecast

The work people build is worth protecting, and it's harder to protect than it used to be. AI agents now move at machine speed with human-level access, and a small slip-up can become a very public one. We disrupt cybercriminal activity before that happens. We think fast, go big, and always demand more of ourselves. We work hard, deliver, and repeat. We grow with real determination and put success well within reach. We push each other to be better and expect to be pushed back, in a community built on respect, where everyone is counted. Work Protected.

Overview

As Director, Global MSP Marketing, you'll define and lead the worldwide marketing strategy for Mimecast's Managed Service Provider (MSP) business. Part of the Global Integrated Marketing team and reporting into Marketing leadership, you'll lead a global team and partner as a peer with the Global Head of MSP and regional MSP leaders.

You'll build programs that recruit new MSPs, grow pipeline and revenue through existing and new business, enable partners to sell and market Mimecast, and strengthen MSP engagement and retention. You'll turn global strategy into consistent regional execution across demand generation, campaigns, content, events, enablement and lifecycle marketing.

What You'll Do
  • Own the global MSP marketing strategy, annual plan and budget, aligning with MSP leaders and corporate marketing on regional goals and KPIs. Represent MSP marketing in executive forums.
  • Lead MSP recruitment programs, from the partner value proposition and targeted outreach to onboarding communications that accelerate time to first revenue.
  • Drive pipeline and revenue through cross-sell, upsell and net new business campaigns, with scalable campaign kits and joint marketing plans for regional teams.
  • Own MSP marketing and sales enablement, including playbooks, messaging, co-brandable assets, training and certification support, and the partner portal experience.
  • Lead lifecycle marketing across partner communications, community, advocacy, recognition and customer success stories. Use feedback and engagement data to improve satisfaction and retention.
  • Oversee MSP events, including partner conferences, advisory councils, tradeshows and regional activations, alongside digital, social, content and third-party media programs for lead generation.
  • Own marketing performance and ROI using Salesforce, Marketo and Tableau. Report on pipeline, acquisition, growth, engagement and retention, and work with sales and BDR teams to adjust investment.

What You'll Bring
  • Experience leading global partner or channel marketing teams, managing multi-region budgets and agencies, and owning strategy through regional execution.
  • Experience marketing to MSPs or other channel partners, including recruitment and retention programs, ideally in cybersecurity or SaaS.
  • Broad marketing expertise in IT, software or SaaS, with the ability to independently set channel marketing strategy, allocate investment and lead complex programs across regions.
  • A track record of demand generation and campaigns that deliver measurable pipeline and revenue growth.
  • Experience building partner enablement and co-marketing programs at scale.
  • The ability to work in a matrix organization and influence senior global and regional stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Strong communication and executive presentation skills, with experience engaging senior leaders and partners.
  • An analytical approach to marketing performance and ROI, and the initiative to manage multiple priorities across regions and time zones.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent in marketing, communication or a related field.

The base salary range for this position is $156,000−$234,000 plus benefits. This range represents the minimum and maximum new hire compensation for this role. The position may also be eligible for incentive plans and additional benefits, in accordance with company policy and local regulations.
