About this role:
Consumer Bank & Lending's Digital Platforms Team is seeking a Director of Digital Authentication. The Digital Platforms team enables secure, scalable, and innovative digital experiences by building and operating the foundational platforms, capabilities, and execution disciplines that power our digital channels. The team focuses on creating shared, reusable capabilities that accelerate delivery, improve consistency, and strengthen customer trust across the enterprise.
The Director of Digital Authentication leads the strategy, design and delivery of secure, seamless customer authentication journeys across digital experiences. This role balances strong customer experience principles with security, fraud prevention, and regulatory requirements, ensuring authentication solutions are intuitive, resilient and trusted at scale.

In this role, you will:
  • Own the end-to-end strategy and roadmap for digital authentication experiences across the enterprise.
  • Translate customer, business and regulatory needs into scalable authentication solutions that reduce friction while strengthening security.
  • Partner closely with Information Security, Fraud, Legal, Compliance and Risk teams to ensure solutions meet policy, regulatory and control requirements.
  • Use data, experimentation and customer insights to continuously optimize authentication journeys, balancing conversion, protection and customer trust.
  • Drive alignment across platforms and lines of business to ensure consistent, reuseable authentication capabilities.
  • Manage relationships with vendors that support our digital authentication experience.
  • Manage and develop two or more specialized teams of managers and digital professional individual contributors with focus on supporting the development and execution of digital strategy within a large business line or functional area for cross functional stakeholders and internal partners associated with the function or affected by its outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities and strategies for programs and initiatives with impact across the business line and may have enterprise-wide impact.
  • Lead the team by making strategic decisions to resolve highly complex issues to meet higher risk deliverables like content strategy/creation, customer experience, analytics/research or product management.
  • Interpret and develop range of policies and procedures for functions with moderate to higher complexity and risk.
  • Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including senior leadership.
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives in aligned departments or business.
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy.

Required Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of digital product management or leadership experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • 4+ years of management or leadership experience.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience working with authentication and identity technical solutions, fraud prevention and information security.
  • Proven success leading multi-team digital product organizations within a large, matrixed financial services environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute digital strategies with enterprise-level impact.
  • Strong capability to resolve highly complex digital product, customer experience, analytics, or content challenges through strategic decision‑making.
  • Expertise in interpreting and applying policies, procedures, and risk requirements within regulated environments.
  • Experience influencing and collaborating with senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
  • Track record of effectively managing budgets, resource planning, and performance against strategic objectives.
  • Commitment to building high-performing teams and fostering a culture of talent development.
  • Advanced knowledge of digital product lifecycle management, customer research, and data-driven decision frameworks.

Job Expectations:
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule.
