Our Vision

Proof’s vision is to provide great legal technology that reduces the cost of delivering legal services, making lawyers and courts more accessible to more individuals and businesses that currently cannot afford to engage a lawyer.

The Role

We’re hiring a Director of Demand Generation to lead strategy and execution across the funnel, from logo acquisition and pipeline acceleration to customer expansion and advocacy. This player-coach will build upon Proof’s product-led growth (PLG) foundation to drive enterprise pipeline in close partnership with Sales. The ideal candidate is equal parts strategist and operator, with a strong track record in PLG-to-SLG motions, performance marketing, and lifecycle-driven growth.

What You'll Do
  • Campaign Execution: Architect and execute integrated campaigns that convert self-serve users into Sales opportunities and advance deals through the funnel.
  • Sales Partnership: Partner closely with AEs, SDRs, and CSMs to drive pipeline creation, acceleration, and expansion through targeted plays and compelling messaging.
  • Channel Strategy: Co-own strategy and execution across SEM, paid social, content syndication, events, and webinars—focused on driving PLG growth and building brand equity.
  • Budget & Performance: Manage the performance marketing budget, leading execution through agency partners and internal contributors—doubling down on what’s working and cutting what’s not.
  • ICP & Data Enrichment: Continuously build and expand our ICP database, partnering cross-functionally to enrich data points that power targeted campaigns and outreach.
  • Messaging Alignment: Collaborate with Product Marketing to ensure campaigns reflect segment-specific messaging and value propositions.
  • Attribution & Analytics: Work with RevOps to define attribution models, improve funnel efficiency, and track marketing’s influence on revenue.
  • Sales Enablement: Enable outbound Sales with lifecycle content, retargeting campaigns, and campaign-in-a-box programs.
  • Reporting: Define, measure, and communicate campaign performance clearly and consistently to executive stakeholders.
What Success Looks Like
  • PLG-to-SLG conversion becomes a measurable, predictable source of qualified pipeline.
  • Repeatable, multi-channel campaigns are launched with clear performance benchmarks and learnings.
  • Payback period on marketing investment is within target, with clear attribution to the influenced pipeline and revenue.
  • Sales feedback reflects higher quality and greater relevance of marketing support.
  • A test-and-learn mindset drives continuous experimentation without losing focus on growth.
What You Bring
  • 10+ years in B2B demand generation, ideally with experience in dual-sided marketplaces or legal tech.
  • Deep experience owning and optimizing multi-channel campaigns tied to revenue.
  • Strong command of marketing operations, attribution, and downstream reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with tools like HubSpot, Google & Microsoft Ads, LinkedIn, Clay, Zapier, and Gong
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and RevOps to move fast and prioritize what matters.
  • Experience managing agencies and internal contributors to execute with urgency and quality.
  • Comfort in a fast-paced startup environment and accountability for measurable outcomes.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Full-time, remote, salary position
  • $140,000 - $160,000 base plus $10K variable compensation
  • Medical, dental, vision, disability insurance, and 401k available
  • Flexible time off (paid planned and sick time, and paid holidays)
  • Necessary equipment provided
