Revolution Medicines is a late-stage clinical oncology company developing novel targeted therapies for patients with RAS-addicted cancers. The company’s R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins. The company’s RAS(ON) inhibitors daraxonrasib (RMC-6236), a RAS(ON) multi-selective inhibitor; elironrasib (RMC-6291), a RAS(ON) G12C-selective inhibitor; zoldonrasib (RMC-9805), a RAS(ON) G12D-selective inhibitor; and RMC-5127, a RAS(ON) G12V-selective inhibitor, are currently in clinical development. As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding professionals in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway.

The Opportunity:

This is a unique opportunity to play a critical role in advancing Revolution Medicines' commercialization strategy during a period of significant growth. We are seeking an experienced and highly collaborative Director, Commercial Project Management to lead in one of the company's key Disease Areas by driving cross-functional planning, alignment, and execution across global commercialization priorities.

This role sits within the Commercialization Effectiveness & Operations (CE&O) function and reports to the Executive Director, Global Commercialization Effectiveness.

In partnership with Global Commercial, Medical, Market Access, and cross-functional leaders, you will serve as the primary project management partner to the Global Commercialization Team, the Global Commercial Team and other cross-functional teams in your assigned Disease Area.

Operating in a build-while-scaling environment, you will bring clarity, structure, and execution discipline to complex cross-functional initiatives while helping strengthen commercialization ways of working. As the capability matures, this role may expand to include people leadership responsibilities.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead project management support for Global Commercialization Teams and Global Commercial Teams within an assigned Disease Area, driving alignment, accountability, and execution across strategic priorities.

  • Drive execution of global commercial and commercialization initiatives, ensuring milestones, risks, dependencies, and key decisions are effectively managed.

  • Coordinate and integrate inputs across Commercial, Medical, Market Access, Regulatory, Supply, Legal, Finance, and regional stakeholders into cohesive commercialization plans.

  • Facilitate planning, governance, and decision-making processes, ensuring effective follow-through on actions and commitments.

  • Identify and proactively manage risks, dependencies, and execution challenges, escalating issues as appropriate.

  • Develop and maintain project plans, dashboards, timelines, and reporting tools that provide visibility into progress and priorities.

  • to ensure alignment between execution needs, planning processes, and organizational priorities.

  • Support launch readiness and other key commercialization initiatives within the Disease Area.

  • Partner closely with Project Management colleagues across the organization to ensure alignment between development, life cycle, medical, market access and commercial plans and deliverables.

  • Contribute to the development of Commercial Project Management capabilities, including tools, templates, best practices, and ways of working.

Required Skills, Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree, with 10+ years of relevant experience in biotech/pharma/healthcare

  • Significant experience leading complex, cross‑functional projects or commercialization initiatives.

  • Experience supporting global commercial organizations, including launch readiness, lifecycle management, or major commercialization initiatives.

  • Experience working across global and regional operating models.

  • Strong project management skills, including planning, dependency management, risk management, stakeholder leadership, and executive communication.

  • Proven ability to influence without authority and drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.

  • Experience partnering with senior commercial, medical affairs, market access, and cross-functional leaders.

  • Track record of thriving in fast-paced, evolving environments with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complexity into clarity for diverse audiences.

  • Strong judgment, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

  • Advanced degree (MBA/MS/PhD).

  • Oncology / specialty pharma commercialization experience.

  • Formal Project Management training or certification (e.g., PMP).

  • Experience supporting multiple concurrent programs or portfolios.

  • Early people leadership experience or readiness to step into people leadership as the capability scales.

The base pay salary range for this full-time position for candidates working onsite at our headquarters in Redwood City, CA is listed below. Our base pay salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual base pay salary is determined by multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, market dynamics, and relevant education or training.
