About Argano

Argano is a global specialist consultancy and the High-Performance Operations partner to mid-market and large enterprises. We combine deep, practitioner-level industry expertise with connected capability across the platforms that run modern operations — Oracle, SAP, Microsoft, Salesforce, Workday, UKG, Anaplan, Blue Yonder, Databricks and more — to help clients turn technology, data, and AI into measurable operational results. Clients choose Argano for boutique-quality delivery at enterprise scale: the business-problem-first thinking of a specialist with the breadth and reliability to execute across a heterogeneous technology estate.

The Opportunity

Industry analysts shape how buyers, publishers, and private-equity sponsors perceive the services market. As Argano moves from a collection of acquired practices into one unified operating model, we need a single, credible owner of our relationships with Gartner, Forrester, IDC, Everest Group, HFS, ISG, and the other firms that rank and evaluate our space.

The Director, Analyst Relations will build and run Argano’s analyst relations program from the ground up: the engagement strategy, the operating cadence, the executive preparation, the evaluation and RFI submissions, and the loop that brings analyst research and market insight back into our business units and go-to-market. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can set the strategy and also personally drive the briefing calendar, the submission tracker, and the executive prep deck.

You will report to the SVP of Marketing and work daily with Argano’s CEO, Chief Growth Officer, Presidents, business-unit and practice leaders, and the corporate marketing, communications, and demand-generation teams.

What You Will Do
Analyst engagement strategy
  • Build, own, and continuously refine a multi-year analyst relations strategy that supports Argano’s corporate and business-unit growth priorities — including which firms, analysts, and evaluations matter most, and why.

  • Map the analyst landscape across our publisher practices (Oracle, SAP, Microsoft, Salesforce, Workday, UKG, Anaplan, Blue Yonder, Databricks), our offerings (AI, Connect, Managed Services, HCM, Supply Chain, Revenue Operations), and our priority verticals (healthcare and life sciences, pharma, manufacturing, homebuilding, wholesale and distribution).

  • Recommend and manage analyst firm relationships and subscriptions, including scope, budget, renewals, and inquiry usage, so the company gets measurable value from every contract.

  • Define and report the KPIs for the program — inclusion and placement in key evaluations, briefing volume and quality, analyst sentiment, referenced mentions in research, inquiry usage, and analyst-influenced pipeline.

Evaluations, RFIs, and report submissions
  • Own the calendar of Magic Quadrants, Waves, MarketScapes, PEAK Matrix assessments, Horizons reports, Provider Lens studies, and other evaluations relevant to Argano; decide where we participate and manage the end-to-end response.

  • Project-manage each RFI and submission: assemble the cross-functional team, build the work plan, gather and validate data, coordinate customer references, write and edit the narrative, and deliver on time and to a high standard.

  • Prepare and coach executives and practice leaders for evaluation demos and briefings, and manage post-evaluation fact-checks, reviews, and debriefs.

  • Maintain a reusable library of company facts, proof points, case studies, metrics, and boilerplate so every submission is consistent, current, and on-message.

Briefings, inquiries, and executive preparation
  • Run a proactive briefing and inquiry program: secure the right analyst meetings, set objectives, build the narrative and materials, and follow up on commitments.

  • Prepare Argano executives ahead of every analyst interaction with concise briefing documents covering the analyst’s coverage, recent research, prior interactions, likely questions, and our key messages.

  • Manage analyst participation in Argano events, customer stories, and thought-leadership programs, and coordinate analyst speaking, quotes, and content licensing with marketing and communications.

  • Track every interaction, commitment, and outcome in a shared analyst relations system of record.

Voice of the market into the business
  • Monitor, curate, and distribute relevant analyst research to business-unit, practice, sales, and marketing leaders, with clear summaries of what it means for Argano.

  • Translate analyst research and inquiry insights into implications for positioning, offering development, competitive strategy, and go-to-market planning; partner with product marketing on messaging and with sales enablement on competitive intelligence.

  • Bring the outside-in perspective into planning cycles — quarterly business reviews, offering roadmaps, and annual marketing and growth planning.

  • Enable sales and delivery teams to use analyst recognition and research appropriately in pursuits, proposals, and client conversations.

Program operations
  • Establish the operating rhythm for the program: the annual plan, the quarterly review with executive leadership, briefing and submission calendars, and a reporting dashboard.

  • Manage analyst relations budget, agency or contractor support, and analyst firm contracts.

  • Ensure compliance with each analyst firm’s citation, quotation, and reprint policies, and with Argano’s brand and communications standards.

What You Bring
Required
  • 5–7+ years of experience in analyst relations, or a closely related mix of analyst relations, public relations, product marketing, or corporate communications, with demonstrated ownership of analyst programs and evaluations.

  • Direct working experience with Gartner, Forrester, IDC, Everest Group, HFS, ISG, or comparable firms, including managing Magic Quadrant, Wave, PEAK Matrix, or similar evaluation submissions from start to finish.

  • Strong understanding of the technology and professional services market, ideally within consulting, systems integration, managed services, or enterprise software.

  • Excellent executive-facing communication skills; able to distill complex research into crisp briefs and coach senior leaders with confidence and tact.

  • Outstanding writing and editing skills, with the judgment to keep submissions accurate, differentiated, and on-message.

  • Proven project management ability across multiple concurrent, deadline-driven, cross-functional workstreams.

  • Comfortable working hands-on in a growing organization where you build the process rather than inherit it.

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred
  • Experience at a consulting or services firm with multi-publisher practices (Oracle, SAP, Microsoft, Salesforce, Workday) and a background in how those ecosystems and their analyst coverage intersect.

  • Familiarity with services-industry evaluations such as the Everest Group PEAK Matrix, HFS Horizons, ISG Provider Lens, and IDC MarketScape.

  • Experience integrating analyst insight into product marketing, competitive intelligence, or account-based marketing programs.

  • Experience supporting a private-equity-backed or acquisitive company through brand and operating-model integration.

  • Working knowledge of AI, data, and connectivity trends shaping enterprise operations.

How Success Looks in Year One
  • First 90 days: Complete the analyst landscape map, audit current firm relationships and subscriptions, meet every executive and practice leader, and stand up the briefing calendar, submission tracker, and executive briefing template.

  • First 6 months: Publish the analyst engagement strategy and annual plan; deliver our first prioritized evaluation submissions on time and with executive-ready prep; launch a regular research digest for business-unit and GTM leaders.

  • First 12 months: Measurable movement in analyst awareness and positioning of Argano; inclusion in the evaluations we targeted; a running program dashboard; and analyst research visibly informing positioning, offerings, and sales enablement.

Why Argano

You will work across a rare breadth of platforms, industries, and offerings, and see the direct line between the analyst relationships you build and the growth of the business.
