Job Title: Digital Strategist

The Digital Strategist is a creative, strategic leader responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing digital solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of digital resources and a comprehensive grasp of how digital and creative strategies drive audience engagement to solve client challenges across the medical communications lifecycle. The Digital Strategist role includes identifying trends, optimizing outreach, and analyzing results to maximize impact and success.
What You'll Do
- Drive digital strategy in planning and client presentations, ensuring digital deliverables are innovative, creative, and effective
- Programs may include:
- Audience activation at congress booths and product theaters
- Gamified solutions to test knowledge
- Educational resources including videos and podcasts
- Digital resources such as websites and portals
- Understanding of channels and messaging tactics to reach and influence audiences
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align digital solutions with client objectives, audience needs, and strategic goals
- Serve as a subject matter expert on digital platforms, such as content hubs and advisory board portals, as well as educational engagement resources such as gamification, videos, podcasts, and congress activation resources
- Lead the end-to-end execution of digital projects, including establishing KPIs and success metrics at the outset of the project
- Analyze performance metrics and user data; generate reports and provide insights on results; optimize digital programs; recommend enhancements to exceed client expectations
- Identify, evaluate, and implement new digital tools, platforms, and technologies to enhance client engagement and performance
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee licensing agreements for digital tools
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of digital ecosystems, including web, mobile, social media, SEO/AEO and SEM, analytics, and CRM platforms
- Contribute to the evolution of digital best practices within the organization
What You Bring
- Strategic, creative thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement
- Extensive experience in digital project management or digital strategy, preferably in a healthcare or agency setting
- Proven ability to manage complex digital projects from concept to completion
- Strong understanding of digital engagement resources and analytics
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation
