BAE Systems is looking for a mid-level DevOps Engineer to join a strong team supporting our government customer. This position will provide the ability to make a significant impact to the mission.
The mid-level DevOps Engineer:
  • Responsible for the design, deployment, testing, certification, operations, patching, addressing interoperability issues, of DevSecOps infrastructure tools, including all operating systems, support libraries, components, and application dependencies.
  • Responsible for the primary Operations and Maintenance workforce multiple tools.
  • Deploys and configures services using infrastructure as a service provider.
  • Configures and manages Linux-based servers to serve a dynamic website.
  • Debugs cluster-based computing architectures.
  • Uses scripting or basic programming skills to solve problems.
  • Installs and manages open-source monitoring tools.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments.
  • Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks.
  • Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems.
  • Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience recommended. In absence of years of experience, certifications or past work may be used to show the level of experience needed to perform at this level.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $105254 - $178931
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
