Roles and Responsibilities
The Professional Band -level Combustion Design Engineer will:
· Complete procedures, design templates, and other standard work methods using hand calculations, FEA, test data and good engineering judgement to justify designs against acceptance criteria.
· Design combustion systems to meet overall gas turbine product requirements.
· Have some autonomy to make decisions with a defined framework. In addition, he/she will consult and seek support from more senior members when necessary to accomplish defined work/priorities.
· Effectively document and present results in formal and informal reviews.
· Protect the IP rights of the Company and agree to the overall business priorities: 1. Safety, 2. Quality, 3. Delivery, 4. Cost, and with priority ordered as such.
· Maintain a basic understanding of key business drivers and uses this understanding to accomplish own work.
· Demonstrate excellent presentation & communication skills
· Exercise exceptional computer skills
Required Qualifications
· A Bachelors’ Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or closely related engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.

· Coursework and/or experience in gas turbine design and combustion design

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $72,000.00 and $108,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
