As a member of the Deal Desk team, you will play a critical role supporting Drata’s GTM teams, actively driving Drata’s expansion! You will collaborate with essential cross-functional team members to establish processes, implement new deal strategies, and up-level sales execution to win new business. The successful candidate will have experienced success in SaaS deal management, negotiation, and sales process optimization.
What you’ll do:
- Accelerate New Market Entry: You'll provide expert guidance to account executives and sales leaders, enabling innovative deal structuring, competitive pricing, and creating creative solutions to complex customer requests.
- Ensure Deal Integrity & Compliance: You'll lead commercial contract review for new business in the commercial markets, mitigating risks and ensuring signed deals align with corporate policies and legal requirements.
- Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration: You'll orchestrate collaboration across legal, finance, sales operations, and product teams to streamline deal approvals, shepherd non standard requests, and accelerate the execution of sales.
- Optimize Scalable Deal Processes: You'll develop and implement efficient deal desk workflows tailored for new business acquisition, leveraging data analytics to champion best practices and reduce sales cycle times.
- Document Processes & Policy: You will document and publish team playbooks as well as manage team internal web pages focused on sales enablement and new workflows.

- Possesses exceptional oral, written, and presentation skills to effectively engage and gain commitment from executives, cross-functional peers, and team members.
- Demonstrates the ability to concurrently manage multiple complex initiatives, ensuring efficient progression of new business opportunities from "quote to cash".
- Applies strong analytical skills to drive deal performance improvements and positively impact company KPIs.
- Effectively directs and guides team members through intricate deal structures and processes, fostering a collaborative environment that accelerates the successful execution of complex new business transactions.
Functional/Technical
- Bachelor’s degree/MBA from an accredited college/university
- 3-5 years of sales support experience at a high growth software company
- Deal Desk experience preferred
- Expert in Safesforce CPQ to quote and close deals
- Skilled in Excel or G-Sheets to model complex pricing and deal structures

This role will receive a competitive base salary, benefits, and stock, typically in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The applicable salary range for each US-based role is based on where the employee works and is aligned to one of 3 tiers based on the cost of labor for that geographic area. The expected salary ranges for this role are below, subject to change.
Tier 1: $123,250 - $152,900
Tier 2: $110,900 - $137,600
Tier 3: $98,600 - $122,300
