What you'll do:
- Design, develop, and implement advanced predictive learning models for financial forecasting, including revenue, expenditure, cash flow, and other key financial metrics.
- Analyze large financial datasets to identify trends, correlations, and actionable insights that influence financial planning and performance.
- Research and implement innovative forecasting algorithms to generate accurate financial forecasts and projections.
- Oversee data collection, cleansing, and validation processes to ensure data integrity and reliability.
- Work cross-functionally with finance, business, and product teams to understand business requirements and deliver actionable insights that drive financial strategy.
- Document code, algorithms, and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure reproducibility.
- Effectively communicate complex technical concepts and insights to both technical and non-technical partners.
What you'll need:
- Candidate must possess a Graduate Degree (MS/PhD or equivalent experience) in Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
- Validated experience in developing advanced machine learning models with a focus on financial forecasting, financial modeling, or similar domains.
- Strong experience with time series analysis, regression models, and machine learning algorithms for financial predictions.
- Expertise in programming languages such as Python.
- Advanced proficiency with SQL
- Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git) and joint coding practices.
- Good understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical partners.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
