Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Victor Insurance. This role will be based in New York City or Bethesda Maryland. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

As the US Product Owner - Data, you will be a recognized subject matter expert in Information Technology, managing large projects and processes. You will oversee the priorities roadmap for IT products and the day-to-day operations of the team and third-party vendors, ensuring that data solutions meet the needs of consultants, sales professionals, and leaders across the firm.

We will count on you to:

  • Develop and operationalize the portfolio's data strategy, recommending and delivering short- and long-term IT portfolio goals to elevate product quality.
  • Provide expert and strategic advice to the Operations & IT leadership team on all data matters affecting the IT portfolio.
  • Conduct quantitative research to determine and communicate connections between data, identifying and answering questions about data and products.
  • Build a Center of Excellence around Data, driving transformational change and innovation while meeting business objectives.
  • Manage all phases of project delivery, defining project structure, resource plans, and activity schedules, while serving as the escalation point for significant data problems.

What you need to have:

  • Substantial experience managing extensive data and innovation programs.
  • Prior experience in the insurance industry is essential for success.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Power BI and SQL reporting.
  • Experience manipulating and analyzing complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources
  • Experience in Agile delivery for large platforms, including data visualization tools.

Marsh McLennan is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $105,800 to $211,600.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
