How you will create an impact

The Data and Analytics Solutions Engineer will play a pivotal role in translating business needs into actional insights through data analysis and interpretation within the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team.  This individual will be at the forefront of providing telemetry that demonstrates the maturity of our overall IAM strategy and program as well as identify related risks and opportunities to improve access governance and security posture.  The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leveraging data to drive business insights, implement data-driven strategies, and deliver high-impact solutions.

  • Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to understand business objectives and gather requirements for related data analytics.
  • Support the design, development, and maintenance of analytical solutions aligned to best practice and methodologies.
  • Partner with teams to collect, document, and interpret relevant data to feed into data pipeline.
  • Leverage scripting, such as Python, to extract, load, and transform (ELT / ETL) data from various sources.
  • Utilize capabilities within our data warehouse, Snowflake, to normalize and join data for visualization.
  • Create visually compelling and insightful reports and dashboards, using data visualization tools, such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Automate processes using tools such as Power Automate.
  • Identify, establish, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risk indicators (KRIs) based on process and data knowledge, aligned to organizational goals.
  • Implement data models, ensuring data completeness, accuracy, reliability, and security of data.
  • Deliver outcomes with agile processes and a CI/CD mindset, incessantly seeking opportunities to automate, including use of AI/ML.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data visualization, data warehouse, and scripting technologies as well as IAM and cybersecurity.
What you need to succeed
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a strong background in data analytics.
  • 5+ years of experience with data analytics processes, including extracting, loading, transforming, and presenting data
  • Proficiency in Power BI and Snowflake, with the ability to create complex reports and manage large data models.
  • Interest in using AI/ML to improve our capabilities and services related to data modeling and insights.
  • Proficiency with programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, etc.) and automation tools (e.g., Power Automate).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering actionable insights.
  • Self-starter who is proactive, motivated, and resourceful individual who takes ownership of their work, embraces challenges, and consistently strives for excellence.
  • Ability to think strategically and drive business outcomes through data insights.
