Overview
We are seeking a senior level Data Analyst to join our client's data team. This role is responsible for using advanced analytic techniques and data visualizations and analysis to investigate business questions, synthesize, and communicate findings, and deliver actionable insights. The Data Analyst will partner closely with management and stakeholders to clearly define problems, explore and analyze data, and present results in a way that drives business decisions. This role is responsible for using SQL queries and advanced Excel, among other tools, to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights. This is a remote long term consulting engagement and requires qualified candidates to live in the United States and work MT or CT time zones. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship, visa transfer or C2C candidates.
Requirements
- Partner with the management team to ensure business questions are clearly defined, scoped, and actionable.
- Use SQL and Excel to pull and analyze datasets and turn into actionable insights.
- Leverage industry or domain knowledge of the broadband industry to quickly understand data context.
- Translate analytic findings into a clear, compelling narrative supported by charts, figures, and tables.
- Self-starter that can take ownership of critical projects from conception to actionable recommendations, directly impacting company strategy and driving measurable performance outcomes.
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports that track core KPIs and business performance for executive stakeholders.
- Develop professional, polished presentations in PowerPoint, emphasizing readability and clarity. Deliver insights and recommendations to senior level technical and non-technical audiences, with sensitivity to organizational dynamics.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, data visualization and data insights is required.
- Demonstrated proficiency with SQL queries and advanced Excel feature and functionality is required.
- Data visualization experience is necessary.
- Must have experience in the broadband industry and understand data in this context/domain.
- Excellent communication skills with proven ability to work cross-functionally and present to senior leaders.
- Detail-oriented and data savvy, with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Proven ability to distill complex analyses into clear, actionable insights.
- Strong foundation in statistics, with ability to apply appropriate analytic techniques.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Master's is helpful.
Compensation
Sand Cherry Associates is required by Colorado law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range considers a wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. This is a consulting engagement with an expected annual salary of $90,000-$115,000. Years of experience, level of education, geographic location, unique skills/qualifications for the specific role and potential certifications can be key factors in the final compensation for this role.
