About this Opportunity

Inmar’s Summer Internship Program offers a dynamic and enriching experience designed to give students real-world exposure to a professional environment while contributing meaningfully to company initiatives. Interns will split their time between a high-impact cross-functional team project and department-specific responsibilities assigned by their direct manager.

As a Data Analyst Intern focused on AI and Chatbot Optimization, you’ll join the Client Excellence Operations team to support the development of AI-driven systems that enhance Inmar’s customer support operations. Working closely with Product, Engineering, and Client Excellence teams, you’ll help optimize chatbot performance, improve knowledgebase structure, and strengthen data connections that enable smarter, more accurate customer interactions across the Healthcare division.

Please note: This internship is onsite at our Winston-Salem, NC location and will require in-person attendance.

What You’ll Do

  • Analyze chatbot performance data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improved accuracy and deflection.

  • Organize, document, and enhance knowledgebase content to strengthen chatbot responses and user experience.

  • Use AI tools (such as ChatGPT and Gemini) to assist in summarizing, tagging, and structuring support content for automation.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and prioritize high-impact data sources across the Healthcare division for integration into chatbot and knowledgebase systems.

  • Support measurement and reporting on chatbot effectiveness, knowledgebase utilization, and customer support efficiency.

  • Assist with documentation of best practices, workflows, and insights to support long-term knowledge management initiatives.

  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions and design discussions focused on scaling Inmar’s AI-enabled support capabilities.

Your Qualifications

    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (Excel/Sheets, Docs, Slides).

    • Comfort using AI tools for research, analysis, and documentation.

    • Experience structuring or organizing content for AI systems (e.g., tagging, summarization, knowledgebase work) is a plus.

    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document findings and recommendations clearly.

    • Interest in customer experience, automation, and knowledge management.

    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within diverse teams.
