Overview

We’re looking for a strong Data Analyst Consultant with experience working with relational databases, writing scripts, and working with QGIS or Arc GIS technologies, as well as Salesforce. The successful candidate will provide a variety of complex data analysis, reporting and automation. This role will work to validate, organize, and analyze data to generate meaningful insights. Our Data Consultant will possess strong communication, an ability to be proactive and responsive, as well as collaborate well with others on the team as well as Executive level. This is a long term consulting project and a remote role requiring MST hours. Candidates must be fully authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship. We do not offer C2C.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Familiarity working with relational data bases including writing custom SQL scripts
  • Familiarity/experience working with GIS related systems and technologies such as QGIS or Arc GIS
  • Familiarity/experience with Salesforce and Sitetracker reporting from a front end and backend reporting and analysis standpoint
  • Template and automation creation, status reporting, configuration
  • Building of scalable, flexible data models
  • Conducting ad-hoc analyses and presenting results in a clear manner
  • Creating insightful data visualizations and compelling data views
  • Familiarity working in large, enterprise environment with many cross functional teams
  • Communicating with stakeholders in a professional, succinct manner
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and an ability to work independently

Requirements

Qualifications/Technical Skill Requirements

  • Minimum of 5-7 years experience in data analysis, data modeling, data analytics and reporting
  • Experience working with QGIS or Arc GIS mapping technologies is required
  • Proficient in using Advanced Excel (including Power Pivot)
  • Proficiency in SQL; familiarity with SQL database structures, access, and modification
  • Must have experience with Salesforce or SiteTracker
  • Experience with relational databases, custom scripting and ad hoc reporting and analysis
  • Familiarity working with multiple data sources including financial and operational data
  • Ability to work with data tools and techniques and to translate information into compelling data views is required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related degree is required

Compensation

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado, Sand Cherry Associates is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. This role has a salary range of $110-125k. Years of experience, level of education, geographic location, unique skills/qualifications for the specific role and potential certifications can be key factors in the final compensation for this role.
