This position will ideally be based near one of our hub locations: Virginia Beach, VA, Nashville, TN; Tampa, FL; Burlington, VT; Cherry Hill, NJ; Rochester, NY; or Santa Ana, CA. Open to remote. 

How you will contribute 

We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Customer Success Manager to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring they successfully implement, adopt, and derive maximum value from our HCM solutions. You will work closely with both internal teams and clients to provide exceptional support, enhance client satisfaction, and drive the ongoing success of client relationships.

What You’ll Do

  • Client Onboarding & Implementation Support: Assist clients through the entire onboarding and implementation process of our HCM solutions. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless deployment, data migration, and integration of HCM systems.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients by being a proactive and trusted partner. Regularly check in with clients to understand their evolving needs and offer appropriate solutions.
  • Consultative Support & Guidance: Provide expert advice on HCM best practices, HR processes, and system configurations. Help clients optimize their use of HCM software to streamline their HR operations and improve employee engagement.
  • Client Training & Education: Coordinate training sessions and workshops for clients to ensure their team is proficient in using HCM tools effectively. Provide ongoing educational resources and support to empower clients to maximize the value of the solution.
  • Issue Resolution & Escalation Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving client issues, identifying potential problems, and managing escalations. Work with internal teams to resolve technical or operational issues promptly.
  • Client Retention & Satisfaction: Focus on client satisfaction and retention by ensuring clients are continuously happy with the product. Help identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional services that would benefit clients.
  • Reporting & Metrics: Track client health, success, and engagement metrics. Regularly provide clients with reports on usage, progress, and ROI. Ensure clients are meeting key milestones and goals.
  • Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support: Work closely with Sales, Product, and Technical teams to ensure alignment on client needs, product updates, and improvements. Assist the sales team with pre-sales engagements and product demonstrations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback to the product development team based on client feedback and industry trends to help improve the HCM platform. Help develop resources such as case studies, FAQs, and knowledge base articles.

What We’re Looking For 

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in client success, account management, or human resources, ideally within a SaaS or technology company.
    • Experience working with Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions, including HR software, payroll, talent management, or workforce management.

    Skills & Knowledge:

    • Strong understanding of human resources processes, including recruitment, performance management, compensation, and benefits.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of an organization.
    • Problem-solving skills with a consultative approach to addressing client needs.
    • Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency in using CRM systems, HCM software, and productivity tools such as Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

    Compensation 

    The base salary range for this role is $75,000 - $100,000 per year depending upon level of experience.
