Job Description: The Onboarding Escalation Analyst supports the Credit organization by managing escalated onboarding requests and ensuring timely, accurate, and policy-compliant processing. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. The Analyst serves as a key contributor to process improvement initiatives and represents Credit in cross-functional discussions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Escalation Management & Turnaround Times

  • Handle escalated onboarding requests including credit references and state board letters.
  • Ensure cases are processed within defined SLAs.
  • Prioritize requests based on urgency and business impact.
  • Provide detailed justification for exceptions while mitigating risk.

3. Process Improvement & Collaboration

  • Identify and escalate SLA/process issues with urgency.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects and represent Credit in cross-functional initiatives.
  • Contribute to process improvement efforts with measurable outcomes.
  • Drive operational maturity by identifying automation and self-service capabilities with a focus on enterprise-oriented solutions.

4. Policy & Business Understanding

  • Demonstrate expertise in onboarding and credit processes
  • Understand how onboarding interacts with other functions (Sales, Pricing, Contracts).
  • Exercise sound judgment and make alternative recommendations when needed

5. Communication & Relationship Building

  • Communicate effectively with a customer-service mindset
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure timely and informative responses to inquiries

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience in finance or accounting

Critical Skills

  • Proficiency with Salesforce
  • High level of proficiency in Excel
  • Understanding of financial statements, tax returns, and cash flow
  • Project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$66,200 - $110,300
