This role can be based anywhere in the U.S.

What you can expect as a Creative Director at Visiting Media:

In this role you will work to drive the development of innovative and impactful brand experiences across all channels. Your experiences with visual storytelling and digital marketing will be crucial as Visiting Media continues to scale in the hospitality space. We anticipate some of your overall responsibilities to be: 

  • Develop and oversee the execution of a strong brand identity and creative strategy that aligns with Visiting Media’s business goals.
  • Lead the creative vision and strategy for all brand communications, ensuring consistency and alignment with the brand identity and messaging.
  • Oversee creative execution across web, social media, email, events, video, and software UX.
  • Ensure consistency in visual identity and messaging across all departments, including marketing, sales, product, and customer experience.
  • Manage creative budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Shape the UX/UI direction of our software platform in collaboration with the product team.
  • Stay ahead of trends in design, branding, and hospitality to ensure Visiting Media remains visually and experientially competitive.
  • Present creative work to internal stakeholders, effectively communicating the rationale and value of creative concepts.
  • Oversee the production of high-quality creative assets.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all touch points, both online and offline.

What previous experience will likely set you for success:

  • 8+ years of experience in a creative leadership role, with a proven track record of success in developing and executing high-impact marketing campaigns
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of creative work across various mediums.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma
  • Experience with digital marketing platforms and tools. 
  • Experience in the hospitality or hospitality tech industry
  • Familiarity with web design, UX/UI principles, and working with product teams to shape software experiences
  • A strategic thinker who can also execute hands-on design work in the short term

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, and a variety of other perks. As a remote company we’ll help ensure you have the tools needed to work from wherever you are. Our best estimate of the compensation range for this opportunity is $145,000 - $155,000 annually depending on the experience you bring.
