YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:  

The responsibilities for this role are below; you may support projects of varying complexity based on skill and organizational priorities.  

  • Build and understand complex financial models. 

  • Perform complex financial analysis with minimal oversight. 

  • Create high-impact presentation materials using PowerPoint, Excel, Word and other relevant presentations to support the effort of the team. 

  • Work well as part of a team in a high stress environment. 

  • Develop good working relationships with peers and seniors in Credit, Capital Markets and the rest of the organization. 

  • Manage priorities while working on a number of high priority opportunities simultaneously. 

  • Complete basic credit and corporate finance overview and analysis independently. 

  • Serve as support to the Managing Directors and be capable of making internal and external software programs. 

  • Provide support to partnering businesses by assessing whether securities products and capital markets services would be appropriate for a particular client and working with business partners to provide those products and services to clients. 

  • Other Duties: Performing other duties as assigned, adapting to new tasks or shifts in priorities as necessary to support your team’s and the company’s mission. 

 

REQUIRED SKILLS: 

Qualified candidates will bring emerging professional proficiency, generally acquired through 0–2 years of relevant work or internship experience in finance, accounting, or a related field. 

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and trends. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for financial modeling and presentation development. 

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly. 

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. 

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when needed. 

  • Ability to obtain and maintain required securities licenses in accordance with company policy.  

SKILLS FOR SUCCESS: 

Successful candidates will demonstrate a higher degree of proficiency across the following areas: 

  • Financial Modeling: Ability to build and interpret complex financial models to support transaction analysis and client recommendations. 

  • Due Diligence: Experience conducting credit, accounting, and legal due diligence to assess transaction viability and risk. 

  • Market Research: Skilled in sourcing and synthesizing market data, economic trends, and comparable transactions to inform strategic decisions. 

  • Client Communication: Ability to prepare compelling pitch materials and market updates tailored to client needs and business objectives. 

  • Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with third-party financial platforms and databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ) used in investment banking or corporate finance environments. 

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based immigration sponsorship now or in the future

  • Graduating Class of 2027

  • GPA 3.3 or higher

  • Experience or demonstrated interest in Corporate & Investment Banking, Leveraged Finance, and/or Capital Markets a plus.

  • Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 79,63 license ( to be obtained immediately after start date).

  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required.

  • Ability to multi-task, while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Ability to work in a time sensitive environment.

  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and good team interaction capabilities.

  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit.

  • Relevant internships and co-op program experience

    We offer a competitive base salary that is reflective of the range of salary levels for all roles within this pay grade across the US. Individual salaries within this range will vary based on factors such as role, relevant skillset, relevant experience, education, and geographic location.

Total Base Pay Range 54,400.00 - 111,500.00 USD Annual
