The Job:  

As a Continuous Improvement Leader, you’ll be part of our STANLEY® Engineered Fastening (“SEF”)  team working as an onsite employee.    You’ll get to:  

  • Directs, administers, and coordinates the activities in support of the goals and objectives of the organization.
  • Works collaboratively with the EHS to ensures that all safety practices are in compliance with OSHA and plant policies, rules are being enforced.
  • Ensures maximum and efficient use of all direct personnel, related manufacturing equipment and indirect operations personnel.
  • Takes steps to ensure that production and utilization levels are in line with plant standards and explain negative variances and means of increasing.
  • Develops budgets to meet financial business goals.
  • Provides performance planning, mentorship, instruction and performance feedback to direct reports.
  • Coordinates all phases of work on large projects and/or a number of smaller projects.  Manages projects efficiently and cost effectively to enhance profitability.
  • Participates in employee involvement actives.
  • Responsible for and controls all manufacturing activities necessary for an efficient and profitable operation of the facility up to and including maintenance of the building and applicable personnel.
  • Shared responsibility with Engineer, EHS, Quality and Manufacturing programs as it relates to safety, equipment purchases, tool/plant/product design, and associated processes.
  • Agility to work across multiple sites

The Person:

  • Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, management or engineering preferred
  • Management  experience 5+ years, manufacturing experience; Experience in Controls Engineering manufacturing environment preferred
  • Knowledge of manufacturing, safety and quality practices
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written; along with budget management skills
  • Demonstrated effectiveness of developing and managing teams.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks with multiple priorities
  • Prior experience with Lean principles preferred
  • Demonstrated computer skills in Microsoft office suite: Word, Excel and Power Point

The Salary range for this position is $77,600.00 - $124,900.00
