About Vantage:

Vantage is the FinOps platform built for modern engineering teams, trusted by thousands of organizations including Block, FanDuel, Vercel, Temporal, and CircleCI, to manage and optimize infrastructure costs across hyperscalers, cloud providers, and foundational models. We're passionate about building a cloud cost transparency platform that helps enable everyone, from developers to enterprises, analyze, report, collaborate on, and optimize their cloud spend. Together we are a high-output team of ~55 employees based in New York City with a remote-friendly culture.

Backed by $25M from Andreessen Horowitz and Scale Venture Partners, and prominent industry veterans: Matthew Prince (Co-Founder, Cloudflare), Calvin French Owen (Co-Founder, Segment), Ben and Moisey Uretsky (Co-Founders, DigitalOcean), Stephanie and Nat Friedman (CEO, Github), Julia Lipton, Brianne Kimmel and others.

About the Role:

Vantage is hiring a Content Marketing Lead to own the strategy, creation, and performance of content that builds our brand and fuels our pipeline. You'll set the editorial direction, write with a clear POV, raise the bar on technical depth and credibility, and shape how Vantage shows up across the topics that define our category, including in SEO and AEO.

Our ideal candidate is a technically fluent marketer with sharp editorial instincts and a bias for action. We’re looking for someone who can develop a deep understanding of our market, translate it into clear and compelling content, and build authority in the cloud cost space. You'll research cloud and AI infrastructure topics, analyze spending patterns in our own dataset, and develop content that moves the pipeline needle and increases visibility.

What You Will Do:

  • Own the content strategy and editorial calendar, aligned to brand visibility (SEO/AEO), product, and pipeline priorities

  • Create high-credibility, technically accurate top-of-funnel content across formats, including blog posts, data reports, guides, and more

  • Stay on top of the latest news coming from cloud and AI providers as well as the market to find relevant topics to cover in depth, especially around cost optimization

  • Develop a strong understanding of Vantage's product value and the technical concepts that matter to our audience, translating them into clear, compelling narratives

  • Drive organic visibility and win high-intent topics through SEO and AEO; iterate on copy, topics, and publishing formats to drive high quality and high intent traffic that converts

  • Support marketing with content for campaigns, events, product launches, and partnerships

  • Work with our design team to tell our story in a visually compelling way

  • Optimize content performance; refresh and scale top-performing assets

  • Own Vantage's social media presence and voice

  • Support comms and PR efforts as needed

What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years of B2B content marketing or journalism experience, ideally for technical products and/or to technical audiences

  • Exceptional writer and editor with a portfolio of technically credible content that has driven measurable impact

  • Strong grasp of SEO/AEO fundamentals and how to win high-intent organic traffic

  • Experience developing content strategy and editorial calendars aligned to business goals

  • Ability to quickly go deep on technical products and translate complexity into clarity

  • Metrics-driven, analytical, and energized by reviewing progress and iterating based on what the data shows

  • High-agency and entrepreneurial; excited to build

  • Experience balancing strategic vision and hands-on execution to drive measurable impact in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

  • A kind person

Nice to Have:

  • Ability to write simple SQL and do some data analysis to back up topics with hard data

  • Familiar with HTML and CSS, with an understanding of what good web layout looks and feels like

  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure as an industry and DevOps as a profession

Pay & Benefits

The estimated annual US base salary range for this role is $145,000 - $165,000. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Additional benefits for this role may include: equity, 401(k) plan; medical, dental, and vision benefits; and education stipends.

At this time, Vantage is only set up to employ in the United States
