Zillow Compliance supports the company’s business units that engage in regulated activities by ensuring adherence to the ever-evolving landscape of regulatory requirements. A key component of this support entails serving as the primary point of contact with regulatory examiners and auditors - ensuring that Zillow is able to effectively respond and react to regulatory requests and feedback.About the role
The Compliance Analyst, Audit and Reporting Support, will play a key role in supporting Zillow’s examination and audit activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in regulatory compliance, experience managing examinations, and excellent organizational and communication skills.
You Will Get To:Coordinate and schedule regulatory examinations and audits across Zillow’s regulated business lines, ensuring alignment with organizational timelines and regulatory requirements.
Liaise with external agencies, regulators, and auditors to arrange examination and audit activities.
Organize and facilitate meetings and interviews between examiners/auditors and internal stakeholders, ensuring all parties are prepared and informed about regulatory context and expectations.
Track and monitor the progress of examination and audit activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks and responses.
Provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders on examination and audit status, findings, and next steps.
Assist in the development and implementation of remediation plans for findings identified during examinations and audits, ensuring plans are comprehensive and effectively address identified issues.
Gather, compile, and review loan files and other documentation requested by regulators, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Maintain comprehensive and organized records of examination and audit findings, responses, and remediation actions for future reference and reporting.
Support the preparation and submission of regulatory reports and filings related to examination and audit activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Educate and inform internal stakeholders about regulatory requirements, examination findings, and compliance obligations, facilitating a clear understanding of audit results and their implications.
As the Compliance Analyst, Audit and Reporting Support, you will:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, finance, compliance, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, audit coordination, or a similar role within a regulated industry.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex regulatory concepts to diverse audiences.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and thorough documentation.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with compliance management systems or similar tools (i.e., AuditBoard). Eagerness to engage, solve problems, and build things together!

Preferred Skills
You have served as financial services regulatory auditors at the state or federal level.
Demonstrated familiarity with key mortgage-related regulations such as TILA, RESPA, ECOA, HMDA, and related federal or state compliance requirements.
Demonstrated experience supporting regulatory examinations and audits.
