Job Summary:
The Compensation Analyst II is responsible for researching, gathering, and analyzing data to assign the appropriate salary level and job title for new and redesigned positions.
Essential Functions:
- Research, gather and analyze data to find out appropriate salary level and job title for new and redesigned positions
- Assist in the execution and administration of and provide analytical support to a variety of compensation policies and programs
- Develop appropriate job descriptions and maintain website/database for accessing compensation information and job descriptions
- Participate in salary surveys and conduct analysis of compensation survey results
- Evaluate and make recommendations on current job positions, promotions and compensation proposals for prospective/ current employees
- Participate in the design and analysis of base, merit, bonus, incentive and commission plans for appropriate employee groups
- Provide support to HR regarding interpretation of compensation practices and guidelines
- Prepare supporting data for review of annual salary budget
- Perform any other job duties as requested
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, human resources or accounting required or equivalent years of experience
- 2-4 years’ experience in human resources or equivalent
Competencies, Knowledge and Skills:
- Intermediate computer skills
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to handle superior level of confidentiality concerning employee information
- Ability to manage multiple priorities

- Excellent time/project management and prioritization skills
- Ability to excel in fluid, dynamic environment
Licensure and Certification:
- CCP preferred
Working Conditions:
- General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
Compensation Range:
$61,500.00 - $98,400.00

In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
