Job Summary:

The Compensation Analyst II is responsible for researching, gathering, and analyzing data to assign the appropriate salary level and job title for new and redesigned positions.

Essential Functions:

  • Research, gather and analyze data to find out appropriate salary level and job title for new and redesigned positions
  • Assist in the execution and administration of and provide analytical support to a variety of compensation policies and programs
  • Develop appropriate job descriptions and maintain website/database for accessing compensation information and job descriptions
  • Participate in salary surveys and conduct analysis of compensation survey results
  • Evaluate and make recommendations on current job positions, promotions and compensation proposals for prospective/ current employees
  • Participate in the design and analysis of base, merit, bonus, incentive and commission plans for appropriate employee groups
  • Provide support to HR regarding interpretation of compensation practices and guidelines
  • Prepare supporting data for review of annual salary budget
  • Perform any other job duties as requested

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, human resources or accounting required or equivalent years of experience
  • 2-4 years’ experience in human resources or equivalent

  • Intermediate computer skills
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to handle superior level of confidentiality concerning employee information
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Excellent time/project management and prioritization skills

Licensure and Certification:

  • CCP preferred

Working Conditions:

  • General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time

Compensation Range:

$61,500.00 - $98,400.00

CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
