About Pear Suite

Pear Suite is an early-stage digital health company building software for community-based care. Our care navigation platform equips community health workers, doulas, care navigators, and the organizations that support them with tools to collect, visualize, and act on social care and community health data. We help community-based organizations, health systems, and government-funded programs deliver more coordinated, person-centered care.

Why Pear Suite?

We’re a mission-driven team committed to health equity and innovation in community-based care. You’ll thrive here if you’re eager to take initiative, value autonomy, and enjoy building structure where none exists. Join us to build scalable, human-centered technology that empowers frontline workers and improves lives across the U.S.

About the role

Community-based care is undergoing a structural shift. Across Medicaid, Medicare, managed care, and community health programs, more funding—and more accountability—is moving toward the teams closest to patients. Pear Suite is building the software infrastructure that helps organizations operationalize that work.

We’re hiring an Account Executive to own full-cycle sales across the organizations leading this shift, including community-based organizations, health systems, federally qualified health centers, and county and government-funded community health programs.

You’ll build pipeline, run discovery, deliver tailored demonstrations, and close your own book of business. You’ll work closely with the Head of Partnerships and contribute to Pear Suite’s go-to-market strategy, territory approach, and sales playbook.

What you'll do

Build and manage pipeline

  • Identify, prioritize, and develop target accounts based on buyer readiness, market developments, policy changes, funding opportunities, and organizational need.
  • Build a portion of your own pipeline through targeted outbound, relationships, industry events, and market-driven account development.

Lead the sales process

  • Run structured discovery to understand buyer priorities, workflows, decision criteria, and urgency.
  • Deliver tailored product demonstrations that connect Pear Suite to each buyer’s operational, financial, and care-delivery goals.
  • Qualify opportunities rigorously and build momentum across multi-stakeholder sales cycles.

Close and transition business

  • Own the commercial process from solution scoping and proposal development through negotiation and contract execution.
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders to address product, technical, security, procurement, and contracting requirements.
  • Transition closed accounts cleanly to implementation and customer success.

Contribute to our market approach

  • Bring customer feedback, market intelligence, and product gaps back to company leadership.
  • Contribute feedback to territory plans, outbound playbooks, messaging, and sales collateral.
  • Represent Pear Suite at industry events and participate in deal reviews and shared best practices.

What You Bring

Minimum qualifications

  • At least 3+ years of quota-carrying sales experience in healthcare
  • Experience owning the full sales cycle and navigating multi-stakeholder deals
  • Experience working in an early-stage startup environment
  • Fluency using AI tools for research, outreach, deal preparation, and writing.

Additional strengths

  • Experience with community-based organizations, health systems, health plans, FQHCs, public health agencies, government-funded programs, or tribal health organizations.
  • Strong understanding and familiarity with healthcare policy and landscape
  • Experience selling workflow software, case management platforms, or adjacent operational systems.

Personal Qualities

  • Authentic passion for community health and health equity
  • High emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity
  • Results-driven while maintaining community-first approach
  • Resilience and adaptability in evolving conditions
What to Expect in the Interview Process

Our interview process is designed to reflect the real work of the role. Expect practical, hands-on stages, including:

  • A written account research and prioritization exercise.
  • A mock discovery call and product demo against a defined persona.

Travel Expectations

  • Up to 30% travel
  • Mix of day trips and overnight travel for key conferences and strategic meetings
  • Company covers all travel expenses
  • Flexible scheduling around community events and family commitments

Benefits and Perks

  • A mission driven culture that values innovation, collaboration and growth
  • Equity: participation in an early-stage company
  • Fully Remote
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Comprehensive Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Health and Wellness Stipend
  • Tech Stipend
  • Co-working Stipend
  • Education and professional development allowance ($1,500 annually)
  • Home office setup stipend

Compensation

  • The base compensation range for this position is $77,000 - $87,000
Based on experience and regional market factors
  • On Target Earnings: $140,000 – $160,000

Compensation Range Disclosure

Pear Suite posts broad salary bands to support pay transparency. The range listed above represents the full compensation band for this role.

While the full band is shown, actual offers within this band are based on a candidate's experience, skills, and internal pay equity. Only a small number of candidates, typically those with highly specialized and directly relevant experience, are placed near the top of the range. Most new hires will fall below the top of the band to allow for long-term progression and growth within the role.

Pear Suite is a fully remote organization so compensation may be adjusted upward for candidates residing in higher-cost labor markets. These geographic adjustments are not reflected in the posted range.
