Vercel gives developers the tools and cloud infrastructure to build, scale, and secure a faster, more personalized web. As the team behind v0, Next.js, and AI SDK, Vercel helps customers like Ramp, Supreme, PayPal, and Under Armour build for the AI-native web.

Our mission is to enable the world to ship the best products. That starts with creating a place where everyone can do their best work. Whether you're building on our platform, supporting our customers, or shaping our story: You can just ship things.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Community and Events Manager to lead our events strategy and scale the growing community around v0. If you’re energized by being at the center of high-energy gatherings, love bringing people together around emerging ideas, and are passionate about the intersection of AI and creative development, this role is for you.

You’ll be responsible for shaping how v0 shows up IRL: from local meetups, to global conferences, and empowering our growing network of community members to host events of their own. This role is highly cross-functional and external-facing. You’ll work closely with Marketing, Product, Partnerships, and DevRel to ensure v0 shows up with intention, energy, and impact.

If you’re based within a pre-determined commuting distance of one of our offices (SF, NY, London, or Berlin), the role includes in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. If you're located beyond that distance, the role is fully remote. For location-specific details, please connect with our recruiting team.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop and execute the end-to-end events strategy for v0, including IRL meetups, conference activations, and community-led gatherings
  • Represent v0 at events: whether that’s speaking on stage, tabling at a conference, or leading a workshop
  • Build and manage scalable programs and toolkits that enable community members to host their own meetups and events
  • Collaborate with Product, DevRel, and Partnerships to align event efforts with product launches and strategic priorities
  • Cultivate relationships with builders, founders, creators, and developers who are passionate about vibe coding
  • Design moments that spark energy and belonging in the v0 community, both online and IRL
  • Work closely with Marketing to integrate event insights, stories, and content into broader campaigns and narratives
About You
  • You have 2–5 years of experience in community building, event management, or developer relations
  • You love being in the room—organizing, energizing, and connecting with people
  • You’re excited to travel regularly to attend and host events around the world
  • You have strong operational skills and can run events from idea to execution without dropping the details
  • You’re plugged into the latest in tech and AI and love spotting early signals in communities and subcultures
  • You bring a builder’s mindset and don’t wait for permission—you create motion
  • You care deeply about aesthetics, energy, and the “vibe” of how a product shows up in the world
Bonus Points
  • You’ve hosted your own meetup, hackathon, or online event for v0 or Vercel
  • Experience working with developer tools, design tools, or early-stage products
  • Comfortable on stage or in front of a camera
  • You already have an engaged online or IRL audience
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation package, including equity.
  • Inclusive Healthcare Package.
  • Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.
  • Flexible Time Off.
  • We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed.

The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $90,000 - $136,000. This salary range is an estimate. Actual salary will be based on job related skills, experience and location. Pay ranges outside San Francisco may be  adjusted based on employee location.  The total compensation package also includes benefits and equity-based compensation. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for your location during the hiring process.
