The Communications Team at Chase is seeking an Associate to join the newly-formed Trust & Security and Crisis Communications team. This person will support existing team member's work across a variety of challenging areas including fraud and scam prevention, payments, and other issues.
As a Communications Associate supporting the Trust & Security and Crisis Communications team, you will possess exceptional writing and research skills, with a talent for storytelling in a concise format. In addition, you will work across various business functions, including operations, legal, product, government relations, and marketing. In addition, you will build and manage relationships, as well as exercise strong editorial judgment in evaluating communication approaches.

- Maintain press lists and pitch traditional and emerging media outlets and figures effectively
- Write simply, clearly and quickly to internal and external audiences
- Gather and process information quickly, recommend communication approaches and messaging in a timely manner
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- 2+ years of relevant external communications experience in a complex, fast-paced, and publicly scrutinized environment
- Excellent verbal and writing skills, especially the ability to simplify complex issues into everyday language
- Experience in working quickly on challenging topics with incomplete and emerging information
- Experience working cross-functionally and collaborating with team members across different areas
- Team player with an enthusiastic attitude and entrepreneurial spirit who is eager to learn, contribute and make an impact
- Maintain a passion for protecting and enhancing the reputation of our firm
