Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Portfolio Manager within Commercial Banking's Agribusiness Specialized Industry Group. In this role, you will:
  • Participate in performing financial research, underwriting, and structuring of highly complex Agribusiness relationships within Commercial Banking Portfolio Management functional area
  • Review and research business financial statements and tax returns that require an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors
  • Resolve moderately complex issues in conjunction with functional Commercial Banking Portfolio Management team, to meet project deliverables, while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with Commercial Banking Portfolio Management peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Lead projects and teams or serve as a mentor for less experienced individuals
Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of Commercial Banking Portfolio Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience managing moderate to complex credit portfolio including independent underwriting and providing coaching/mentoring of junior team members providing support
  • Experience underwriting agribusiness, production agriculture, or related career experience
  • Experience underwriting commodities with understanding of hedging practices.
  • Experience in Excel, specifically financial and projection modeling
  • Experience utilizing AI to conduct research and compile data and presentations
  • Candidate that excels in team environment
Job Expectations:

  • This position requires 4 days in office, 1 day remote
  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule Specific compliance policy may apply regarding outside activities or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired. Pay Range:
Charlotte -North Carolina Pay Range: $100,000 - $163,000 USD annual (this range may not be applicable to other locations)
Fort Worth -Texas Pay Range: $100,000 - $163,000 USD annual (this range may not be applicable to other locations)
Lincoln -Nebraska Pay Range: $100,000 - $163,000 USD annual (this range may not be applicable to other locations)
