Job Description 

Launch your career in data with Vanguard’s College to Corporate (C2C) Internship Program. As a Data Analyst intern, you’ll help turn data into insights that support better business decisions and better outcomes for our clients while building leadership skills through collaboration and real-world impact. This immersive internship combines real-world project work, mentorship, and structured development to help you grow your technical, analytical, and business acumen in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment.  

 

In this internship you will: 

  • Analyze data to answer business questions and uncover insights that support decision-making across Vanguard.  

  • Support the creation of dashboards, reports, and visualizations that help teams monitor performance and communicate results clearly.  

  • Partner with business and analytics teams to understand needs, translate requirements into an analytical approach, and deliver solutions that drive value.  

  • Work with structured and unstructured data, helping to validate data quality, identify trends, and support repeatable reporting processes 

  • Build foundational leadership skills by taking initiative, collaborating across teams, and contributing ideas that improve outcomes. 

  • Build relationships with program managers, alumni, senior leaders, and peers across the program. 

  • Receive coaching and mentorship from your department manager and program leaders to support your growth. 

 

What it takes: 

  • In pursuit of a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Data & Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field 

  • Strong interest in using data to solve business problems and influence decisions. 

  • Demonstrated leadership skills and/or leadership aspirations. 

  • Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. 

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, team-oriented environment. 

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher preferred. 

 

Additional Information:  

  • This program is a full-time, paid 10-week summer internship 

  • Vanguard is not offering sponsorship for this position 

  • The start date for this program will be May/June 2027
