Join the Electrolux Design Team and help shape products that make a positive impact on people’s everyday lives. You will be part of a global design organisation of over 200 designers across 6 locations, working collaboratively across product lines to deliver innovative, human-centred solutions.

Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, you will join the Electrolux Design team as part of a global CMF community, closely collaborating with colleagues in Stockholm and other international studios. This role combines strong individual ownership with global alignment, giving you the opportunity to both contribute to and evolve the CMF expression across the organization.

About the role:

As a Senior CMF Designer, you will lead and deliver world-class color, material, and finish design for current and future product portfolios. You will own CMF execution throughout the entire product development journey, from early concept exploration to final industrialization, ensuring design intent is realized at the highest quality. You will also play a key role in crafting compelling design narratives that influence stakeholders across design, engineering, marketing, and external partners. Balancing hands-on project work with strategic contribution, you will help elevate CMF capability while driving excellence across multiple product programs.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead CMF delivery across multiple product development projects
  • Drive regional CMF excellence, acting as a role model in North America while aligning with global direction
  • Contribute to CMF strategy development for brands and categories in close collaboration with the global CMF team
  • Develop CMF palettes and design systems that ensure consistency and brand differentiation
  • Collaborate with suppliers and engineering teams to ensure accurate and high-quality implementation of CMF intent
  • Define and maintain CMF standards, including textures, finishes, and graphics specifications
  • Communicate design vision effectively through compelling storytelling, visualisation, and presentations
  • Support continuous improvement of CMF processes, tools, and execution within the team

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree in Industrial Design or a related design discipline
  • Minimum 3 -5+ years of professional CMF experience, ideally within a global or industry-leading organisation
  • Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes, with a curiosity to deepen expertise

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in 2D and 3D design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, KeyShot, and relevant visualization software)
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and communicate design intent clearly
  • Strong self-leadership, ownership, and collaborative mindset
  • High level of curiosity, adaptability, and drive to learn
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Willingness to travel and engage with manufacturing sites and suppliers

Benefits highlights:

  • Discounts on our award-winning Electrolux products and services
  • Family-friendly benefits
  • Insurance policy plan
  • Extensive learning opportunities and flexible career path
