About the Role and You

We are hiring a Cloud DevOps Engineer to support a growing portfolio of AI development teams. This is a hands-on, task-based role at the intersection of software engineering, cloud infrastructure, and security. You will partner directly with development teams to identify the right cloud resources to host their solutions, script and provision that infrastructure as code, and deploy it reliably across the full software development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable reading application architecture, writing Terraform, scripting automation, and reasoning about networking and security. You are not just maintaining pipelines — you are enabling multiple teams to ship AI products safely and quickly across AWS and Azure.

What You'll Do
  • Partner with AI development teams to identify, size, and design the cloud resources needed to host their solutions.
  • Author and maintain Terraformmodules and configurations to provision infrastructure as code across AWS and Azure.
  • Build and maintain GitHub Actionsworkflows to automate build, test, and deployment across isolated, testing, and production environments.
  • Manage software releases through multiple SDLC environments, including GitHub and cloud-based environments for isolated releases, testing, and production.
  • Write scripts and tooling (Python, Bash) to automate repetitive operational work, and leverage AI tools to accelerate that automation.
  • Collaborate with the security team to identify threats to deployed cloud services and drive them to resolution.
  • Contribute hands-on engineering: read and understand architecture, write code, and improve the developer experience for the teams you support.
  • Travel to client site as needed
You Have:
  • AWS experience at enterprise scale — designing and operating cloud resources in a production environment.
  • Terraform and a strong grasp of infrastructure-as-code practices.
  • Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and communication between cloud-based services.
  • Experience with security management for deployed cloud services.
  • Understanding of disaster recovery processes for cloud-based services (backup, failover, and restoration).
  • Demonstrated experience releasing software products through multiple SDLC environments (isolated, testing, and production).
Nice-to-Have:
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure alongside AWS.
  • Experience supporting AI/ML workloads or data-intensive applications.
  • Familiarity with using AI tools (e.g., coding assistants, agents) to automate engineering and operational processes.
  • Ability to read and reason about application architecture to advise development teams on hosting and deployment decisions.
  • Database experience across PostgreSQLSnowflake, and NoSQL databases.
You Are:
  • You work well in a task-based, multi-team environment and can context-switch across projects.
  • You communicate clearly with developers, architects, and security engineers.
  • You take ownership of infrastructure and deployments end to end.
  • You look for opportunities to automate and to raise the bar on reliability and security.

The annual salary for this role ranges from: $195,000 to $250,000 USD+ benefits + bonus. Actual compensation packages are determined by evaluating a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, years and depth of experience, education, certifications, cost of labor and internal equity.

THIS POSTING IS FOR A CURRENT VACANCY AND THE EMPLOYER INTENDS TO FILL THIS POSITION BY October 21, 2026.
