The Client Sales Executive is responsible for supporting profitable sales growth with their internal and external business partners. Additionally, the Client Service Executive, Sales will understand the sales appetites within their divisions to best market delivery of the end-to-end service offerings that differentiates The Hartford in the marketplace. We look to the Client Service Executive, Sales to support the end-to-end service mission while delivering engaging customer presentations that demonstrate professional diplomacy, articulated messaging and a friendly confidence that drives positive outcomes for our customers.
Responsibilities:
• As the integral member of the Client Service Team, supports the overall service mission by delivering customer presentations that demonstrate professional diplomacy, articulated messaging and confidence that drives positive outcomes for our customers.

• Sells, negotiates and coordinates account services between underwriting, claims, agent/brokers partners and prospective accounts. In addition to promoting loss cost containment initiatives provided by The Hartford through detailed analysis of claim results.

• Acts as liaison between underwriting and all service partners, to ensure a cohesive and coordinated team approach on all new business opportunities.

• Provides training to local agents and business partners on new claim products and services.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor Degree or equivalent industry experience
• Minimum of 10 years of Property and Casualty experience.
• Prior sales and leadership experience required
• Must reside within assigned geographic region, as face to face interactions are required
• Functional expertise in multiline claims with a minimum of 5 years of functional claim experience in one or more of these product lines: Workers’ Compensation, Property, Auto or General Liability (or equivalent experience servicing large or VIP agencies / brokers).
• Excellent ability to present virtually and in person to senior leaders and internal & external audiences
• Advanced knowledge of analytical claim data review with demonstrated ability to consult re: loss cost containment initiatives through detailed analysis of claim results
• Solid leadership acumen with prior leadership experience preferred along with the ability to influence those in which there is no direct authority
• Strong conflict management skills and ability to navigate ambiguous situations.
• Superior customer service skills (patience, empathy, active listening, service recovery, high degree of attentiveness & follow through)
• Ability to travel approximately 35%.
 

Compensation

The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

$108,000 - $162,000
