Xylem is hiring a Channel Sales Rep!

The Channel Management Sales Representative supports Xylem’s Aquatics and Disinfection Solutions sales organization by assisting in the development, maintenance, and optimization of relationships with channel partners, distributors, and dealers within the water industry. This role helps promote and support products and services used in aquatics, pools, and disinfection applications. Responsibilities include assisting with partner onboarding, conducting market and channel research, maintaining accurate sales and partner records, and collaborating with senior sales and channel managers. The Channel Sales Representative works closely with internal teams to help ensure channel sales objectives are met and partner needs are supported efficiently.

 

Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
• Answering customer inquiries and providing product information
• Assisting with product selection and recommending alternative options
• Resolving customer complaints and issues in a timely manner
• Maintaining positive relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and retention
Sales Support:
• Assisting sales team with administrative tasks and follow-ups
• Creating and maintaining customer accounts in the system
• Managing customer orders and ensuring timely delivery
• Providing support for sales promotions and special offers
Data Entry:
• Accurately entering customer and order information into the system
• Updating and maintaining customer and product databases
• Ensuring data integrity and consistency in all entries
• Generating reports and analyzing data for sales and inventory purposes
Order Processing:
• Processing customer orders and verifying accuracy of information
• Coordinating with warehouse and shipping departments to fulfill orders
• Tracking and monitoring order status to ensure timely delivery
• Resolving any issues or delays related to order processing
Inventory Management:
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and tracking stock levels
• Monitoring and reporting on inventory levels to sales and management teams
• Assisting with inventory counts and audits
• Identifying and addressing any discrepancies or issues with inventory levels
Reporting and Documentation:
• Compiling and analyzing sales data to generate reports for management
• Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
• Documenting any changes or updates to customer accounts or orders
• Providing regular updates and communication to sales and management teams
Communication and Coordination:
• Collaborating with various departments, such as sales, marketing, and logistics
• Communicating any issues or concerns with orders or inventory to relevant teams
• Coordinating with external vendors and suppliers for product availability and delivery
• Responding to and resolving any customer or internal inquiries in a timely manner.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
• Basic understanding of sales principles and practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Salary:

The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000 to $80,000 plus sales incentives. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.  At Xylem we offer a competitive compensation package with a generous benefit package, including Medical, Dental, Vision plans, 401(k) with company contribution, paid time off, paid parental leave and tuition reimbursement.
