Job Description
Role Overview : As a Retail GF&BM Analyst within the Basel Measurement and Analytics team, you will play a crucial role in the production and analysis of Risk Weighted Assets (RWA) for consumer credit products. Collaborate with various stakeholders, including Lines of Business, Model Implementation, Technology, and Regulatory Policy, to advance our firm's capital agenda in Retail Credit and Other Assets risk stripes.
Key Responsibilities :
  • Production & Analysis: Perform tasks related to Retail Credit Risk RWA generation. Analyze RWA, conduct trend analysis, assess forecast-to-actual results variances, and provide insights to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Business Initiatives: Implement new business initiatives and model updates by collaborating with stakeholders and partnering with Technology.
  • Quantitative Impact Studies: Conduct quantitative impact studies (QIS) for regulatory agencies. Understand upcoming rules and regulations in the Retail domain and identify data gaps.
  • Data Quality Management: Partner with risk management, lines of business, and technology teams to identify and resolve data quality issues. Track and manage issues to resolution.
  • Solution Development: Develop solution using Python, SQL Queries, and other tools like Databricks, Alteryx, SharePoint, and Snowflake.

Required Qualification :
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Quantitative Finance, or related fields. CFA charter holders or Math/Statistics/Computer Science graduates with finance industry experience are welcome.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and make decisions. Organized, self-motivated, and a team player.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on controls. Superior attention to detail and process orientation.
  • Ability to utilize technology platforms like Databricks and scripting tools like Python to develop solutions for data transformation, in-depth data analytics, and process automation.
