Job Description Summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an experienced Business Process Architect to join our technology team. In this role, you will lead business transformation efforts, focusing on capital markets products while driving innovative, technology-enabled solutions. The successful candidate will play a critical role in aligning business goals with IT architecture, particularly in the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) space.
This individual will be responsible for mapping business processes, ensuring integration with different systems, and delivering scalable architecture solutions that drive operational efficiencies and long-term success.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Process Design & Transformation:
    • Lead the design, development, and optimization of end-to-end business processes aligned with capital markets product goals and business transformation initiatives.
    • Create business process architecture deliverables such as process flow diagrams, capability maps, and architectural blueprints that support strategic business objectives.
    • Ensure processes are optimized for data integrity, scalability, and future growth, providing seamless integration with underlying IT infrastructure.
  • Business Transformation Initiatives:
    • Drive business transformation projects, particularly in the capital markets product space, by analyzing existing systems and recommending process improvements supported by technology.
    • Identify opportunities for automation, digital transformation, and AI-driven enhancements within business processes, ensuring alignment with CRE industry best practices.
  • Data Modeling & Integration:
    • Design and document data flows and process models that effectively integrate with broader IT systems and ensure data consistency across different platforms.
    • Work closely with data teams to ensure the architecture supports data model alignment and facilitates smooth integration with existing and future applications.
  • Technology Leadership & Integration:
    • Collaborate with development teams to ensure technology integration aligns with the business process architecture.
    • Leverage knowledge of data modeling and data integration to design processes that effectively utilize data assets and maintain data consistency across systems.
  • Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Expertise:
    • Leverage deep knowledge of the CRE industry to design business processes that cater to the specific needs of capital markets and other real estate-focused products.
    • Drive innovation by aligning technology solutions with the unique operational and transactional requirements of the CRE business.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:
    • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather business requirements, provide insights into IT integration, and deliver tailored solutions that address both current and future needs.
    • Present complex business architecture concepts and transformation strategies to executive leadership in a clear and actionable manner.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Experience:
    • 8+ years of experience in business process architecture, process improvement, and business transformation.
    • Experience in the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) industry is highly preferred.
    • Proven experience in designing and delivering business process architecture deliverables, such as capability maps, process flowcharts, and business capability models.
    • Experience in system integration and data modeling, particularly within enterprise platforms like Salesforce.com and Microsoft Azure.
  • Technology Expertise:
    • Strong familiarity with platforms such as Salesforce.com, integration products like Microsoft Azure, and AI-driven technologies like Microsoft Co-Pilot.
    • Experience in designing processes that integrate across multiple systems and technologies, ensuring smooth data flow and functional coherence.
    • Experience in UI/UX tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Invision, Proto.io etc
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Process Design Expertise: Demonstrated ability to design, map, and optimize complex business processes aligned with strategic goals.
    • Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of system integration, data modeling, and leveraging technology to drive business process improvements.
    • Project Leadership: Ability to lead and manage large-scale business transformation initiatives, aligning multiple teams and stakeholders around common objectives.
    • Change Management: Proven ability to drive change within an organization, ensuring adoption of new technologies and processes.
    • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and compelling manner to business and IT leaders.
    • Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess business processes, identify gaps, and recommend scalable solutions that support growth.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $170,000.00 - $200,000.00
