ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a motivated sales professional with an entrepreneurial and building spirit to join our Raleigh Business Development team! As an early member of the team, you'll be instrumental in helping define our outbound and inbound sales motion, meaningfully shape our future product, and drive business revenue all while having a blast doing it! You will: 

  • Identify, qualify, and create new sales opportunities by prospecting a list of target accounts
  • Engage with prospects on the phone, email and on LinkedIn, to uncover their pains, overcome objections, and share how Greenplaces can help them
  • Achieve weekly and monthly KPIs as defined by your manager
  • Maintain a high level of productivity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, complex, collaborative, and team-oriented environment
  • Drive registration and attendance to field events, and other sales and marketing events
  • As this position is often the first point of contact with prospective customers, you are required to conduct business dealings in a professional and proactive manner

  • You are energized to be part of the building phase for the revenue team in a early stage company
  • You have a passion for customers and have a natural empathy for their needs
  • You have a growth mindset and view challenges as learning opportunities, not failures
  • You exhibit creativity and tenacity in how you approach your outbound prospecting (calls, emails, LinkedIn, video, social) efforts
  • You are able to work in person at our office in Raleigh
